So that is what I assumed also since that’s what I needed for my rs, but was told by Livernois it only requires injectors.
That got me curious. I also didn’t need to upgrade my hpfp for my 23 3.5 to go e85
just new injectors. So maybe ford is making progress.

I haven’t concluded anything. The handheld is back in the house as I plan to load latest firm wear and put the tune back on the truck and see what happens.
I’m absolutely going turbo and intercooler so if I have to I’ll jump ship and get something happening I’m jealous of Dueces truck

Simple answer to simple problem. You put a tune on a truck with a stock intercooler. I guarantee it’s heat soaked. It won’t make any power that way. Log the iat

Tune should be immediately and clearly noticeable, even with the stock intercooler. A better intercooler will only help with prolonged high boost operation, which is not the way 99.99% of people drive a street vehicle.

The above is correct. It’s not the intercooler. Even in very warm days when I push mine it’s still vastly noticeable over stock.

Ran my truck with a draggy type unit did 14.58 with down pipe, drop in filter, and 3” exhaust.
Flashed a 93 performance tune and ran a 14.55. I’ve honestly never had such a weak tune, is the 24 overwriting the tune? Basically in normal mode no tune the truck is a touch slower, but the tune fells almost identical to sport mode. I also feel like the truck launches harder without the tune (obviously a little 2 footing necessary)
Super underwhelmed for the money!!!
Just for reference sake, I have FX4 without 4K and I have drop in K&N, Thermal R&D 3” catback with a JB4 running 93 octane tune. My results are similar. I would imagine your Mav with a down pipe and Livernois should be better

This pass shows you hitting the brakes at 1100 feet or so. That pass should have been really close to a 13.9, judging by the 1/8th mile.

Yes, I haven’t found a 1/4 mile test sight that has room for a full pull. Everywhere I go has too much elevation change and the run is not valid. This spot is flat, but short.

BTW, really happy with my JB4. I can’t wait to do some more upgrades. First thing that I need to figure out is how to build boost at start. It feels like 0-60 could be much quicker if you could get rpm’s above 2700. Brake and gas seem to cause a real dead spot at take off.

I’m actually happy with my tune, it’s not Meh, it’s

No life has a way of sidetracking. I have the cfv giant intercooler and brand new Corsair turbo sitting in the closet collecting dust. I might have to make a turbo swap video because I haven’t found one yet

I know the feeling! I've still got side skirts and new mirror lenses siting in my garage for the last 2yrs waiting to be installed on my C8. The Maverick is literally filled with parts, sitting in Colorado, waiting to be shipped over here. Hopefully that will happen next week and it will be here sometime in September/October and I'll be less pre-occupied with track days by then and do the work on both vehicles!
