None I’m looking for a little xtra kick in performance . But most of all I’m looking for a MTC member that’s using a plug n play system and how it’s working and are they happy with the product
Most people that do run them are happy. But remember happy until something goes a miss.
I would strongly recommend just doing the tuner. Safest way to do it and the best performing.
I’ve got 26k hard miles on mine already. Was a little too hard on it at the dunes yesterday.
But if you are really set on the jb4 I’m sure you will like it and I would go for it.

I have a JB 4 in my 24 Maverick and so far so good. I enjoy the performance increase, it’s noticeable. Im looking to keep the vehicle as (Stock as possible)under the warranty, but I know that I could lose it if they found out but until then, JB 4 is a nice little bump and performance without being too discoverable. Good for 0-60 at 5.76 seconds and 1/4 mile low 14’s.

it is harder to find a person like that, because I would think that if they fear warranty issues or mistreatment by their dealer, they're probably going to install a JB4 and not post about it here, on facebook, etc.

this is one of the only threads I've seen about JB4, and you can see @Superg0 asking questions and then getting one. (y)

Well I’m sure 👍 maybe there are some that run the plugin type and are out of warranty that’s who I would like to hear from. Thanks to all who are helping me and club members out 👍

I’m getting that reaction to the jb4. Working for ford in Dearborn I helped engineering fix issues but those were called carburetors back then lol. Just trying to get the best product with little issues. Thanks for all your input 👍

Check out the Panda Power tuner
It doesn’t leave an imprint and looks promising

Doesnt Panda sell a piggyback tuner. It doesnt do a whole lot, but would pair well with a air filter upgrade and give ya just barely enough of a boost to feel.

Piggyback tunes are detectable! Even the best piggyback systems can still leave behind some evidence of their use.

Piggyback tunes function as a man in the middle, intercepting data and injecting it's own. The truck's ECU is still going to (potentially) record data coming from the piggyback that is out of Ford's specification. The amount of logging that modern vehicles perform is incredible.

Use at your own risk to warranty.

Tuners are a risk, but I think you are giving dealers too much credit. They aren't going to investigate unless there is a red flag. It took my local Ford dealer days to figure out the codes my transmission was throwing on my F150. They couldn't replicate what I was telling them and it had thrown multiple codes. Unless you have master techs looking at your particular vehicle they don't have time to mess around looking for evidence. Especially if the warranty issue is not directly related to the tuner.

I recently had Ford's mobile service come to my house for the warranty issue on the blinking light thing. That guy had to stop what he was doing and ask for my Wifi password because he couldnt get his hotspot to work. I don't have the utmost confidence that a dealer is going to figure out such things unless they see my JB4 physically in the engine compartment.

One thing to consider is the interface on the tuner. The JB4 has a Bluetooth app for its heads up display, as well as changing tunes. It really is on the fly tuning. It shows rpm, and gear you are in, as well as your tune. No fumbling through with a laptop or using onboard controls.
