Finally got some cool air again to compare to what I ran all stock in the same DA (density altitude). Truck pulls really good. Love the BCB tune. 5.76 0-60 is great for being on 235/65/17s that weigh 6lbs more each than the oem tires.

How has this affected fuel economy? What engine do you have?

29-30 on the highway and 26-27 mixed. To be honest, I've never really babied it to see what kind of mileage it would get. I have the 2.0.

What Octane tune did you do?

I’ve been telling everyone on Facebook and Reddit that the Brew City Boost tune is currently the best for the Maverick because they also tune the transmission.

I know someone did a review of their 5 star tune on a Maverick (might have been on this forum) and it was pretty lackluster and did not tune the transmission. When they swapped the 5 star tune to a lower octane 5 star tune it was faster then the higher octane. 😜

I'm running 93 octane. Being an 8 speed it's sneaky quick. The gearing with the 2.0 turbo is the perfect combo. BCB tune is great! I may end up doing an E30 tune after warranty is up. I'll keep it safe for now. The adaptive tune is the safest on the market IMO.

I like to top speed limiter removal and shift strategies. Was hoping Livernois would have something out by now, but this looks promising.

When driving normal it's so smooth. It's so fun to drive in sport mode. The 4" intake helped also. I logged before and after quite a bit. Gained about .11-.14 with the intake 0-60 over the stock box. The IATs with stock box were crazy high. 30-40 over ambient temps cruising at 60. This intake is 20-25.

Are you monitoring your knock sensor? If so have you seen much variance at all?

I'm running a top tier 93 octane. I haven't seen any knock looking at the logs. With 10% ethanol there shouldn't be any.

Do you have links or specifics on your intake?

I used a 4" spectre tube, a 4''/3'' reducer and a 4'' spectre filter (9.75" long). I'll post up the part #s later for you.

Monitored the knock sensor again. Temp outside was 97 and IATs were around 125. No knock. Did some pulls 20-80 and it was -0.5 to -3.0, so it's adding timing to whole time on 93 fuel.

Thanks for following up on that data for me. Not too bad and its good to see it adding timing instead of going the other way.

Do you have the 4K tow pak with optional gear ratio? I ordered that not for towing, but for the gear ratio, bigger radiator, and aux trans cooler, plus I was told the axles are heavier duty. I plan on hopping this thing up if and when it ever shows up.
