I took delivery of my Maverick EcoBoost on 1/10/2024. I've done several 8-10 hour drives with it from Arizona to Southern Sonora (lots of shuttling visiting relatives from/to Álamos/Tucson this winter). However, once in Álamos (at the very southeast corner of Sonora), I am only driving it about 4 times a week, very short distances at very slow speeds (tons of speed bumps in this town founded in 1682). Have not had any issues.

Fast forward to last night. Yesterday, we drove round trip to and from Navojoa Sonora for a mid-week date night... about 60-70 miles of driving at 55-60mph (two lane curvy highway). So a good opportunity for the Maverick to charge things on each leg. However, I noted when in Navojoa that the start/stop wasn't working at stop lights. This morning I got the message that the Ford Pass Remote Services have been Turned Off to Preserve the Battery on my truck. So, a 60-70 mile trip with 2 just start events wasn't enough?

So, perhaps at 2 months and 3400 miles I've joined the 'BMS/Low Battery/No Start-Stop/No Remote Services Club'. I'll keep an eye on it and going to check what type of battery I have...

That's nominally 75 miles a week.. Per logic here, your BMS should always be struggling to keep your battery charged... Glad you're good! I was just surprised to have small issues in the 24 hours following a trip of 70 highway miles. I'll just keep an eye open...

I had numerous deep sleep warnings on the Ford app, no start/stop, and no interior lights when entering the truck of and on since new. I took it in for a oil change at 5,000 miles. Dealer installed a new battery after determining the original battery was shot. I drove it 80 miles on Thursday. Out of town Friday-Tuesday. Wednesday morning, no interior lights when entering and no start/stop until I drove for over an hour. Something is seriously wrong with Ford’s battery charging/management system. This is silly for a new truck to be unable to sit in a garage, locked, for 5 days and have a low battery. This would keep me from purchasing another Ford.

Ive had my '22 since July '22, 8700 miles, no battery issues, or any others. All available recalls complete except flasher firmware. That will be on my next, and 3rd, service at the dealer. I drive almost all short duration trips, just 2 a day of about 1.3 miles each. Running full synthetic.

I also had the recall done. Now I can’t turn on the cruise control.

I have had no battery issues but my truck only has 1000 miles. If you look in forscan the battery target state of charge is 80%. That may seem normal but if the BMS is not set up correctly based on the OEM battery it could be limiting the charge your battery gets and holds, this could be influenced by how long and often you drive.. I would recommend doing a BMS reset and a new battery. If the problem persists I would advise increasing the battery target state of charge to anywhere from 85%-95%.

I 100% agree. I changed my charge level to 95% and it has made a difference!

I have a 24 FX4 that only has 1500 miles. Came with AGM battery and I have an 12 V adapter (cigarette lighter socket) that gives me the system real time voltage, which typically reads 12.6 when starting, but about 14.8 when started and running normally. That will drop off to 13.8 v once the battery is up to full charge.

I want to monitor my voltage concerning this issue that some have experienced.

My Mav, when it is charging, is around 14.6-14.7 volts. However, when the AGM battery is fully charged, it will run 13.0 during the day and 13.6 at night when the headlights are on.
