I noticed some are worded different. Mine specifically states "will be delivered next year." A few of the others posted don't say that.

I have a scheduled build week of 11/15 and mine says:

The demand for our Maverick Hybrid trucks has exceeded all expectations - in fact, it's nearly sold out for the 2022 model year. Our 2.0 Liter EcoBoost Maverick began shipping in September and is off to a great start. You may have even seen a few of them around town.

Has yours been already built?

Nope, not even scheduled.

I'm wondering if the wording is different for those who have been scheduled vs. those who only have placed an order and are still unscheduled. It would make sense the way both read slightly differently.
Mine is scheduled for build week of 11/15 and the wording is different for me:

The demand for our Maverick Hybrid trucks has exceeded all expectations - in fact, it's nearly sold out for the 2022 model year. Our 2.0 Liter EcoBoost Maverick began shipping in September and is off to a great start. You may have even seen a few of them around town.

at the beginning of the email it has this:

Your new 2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid pickup will be on its way in a few short months, with initial Hybrid deliveries expected to start in January.

I hope that the OKTB does happen on December 8th because I live in the DFW area in North Texas so shipping should be faster than other parts of the country. 3 weeks from Monday Dec 11th is January 1, 2022.

For some of us, the responses coming from the other direction that accuse us of whining or acting irrationally are equally baffling.

I ordered a truck that Ford told me I'd get this fall. That's part of the reason I ordered it, I needed it this fall. They are failing to deliver the truck in the fall, and that's disappointing. I'm not saying they killed one of my children. I'm not saying in the history of the world such disappointing things have never happened.

I'm saying that:
1. I thought I was getting a Maverick this fall and I'm not
2. Ford's way of communicating this delay to me is insulting, pretending that it's good news
3. The only "vote" I have in response is to not give them my money
4. ...which I probably can't do any way because I can't wait until next year for a replacement vehicle.

People who aren't in that position can make a different choice, accepting the delay and the approach to communication. Good for you. This a Maverick forum, and specifically a thread about the email indicating a delay. That some of us will need or want to move on from the Maverick seems reasonable to me. And that we'd say so here - in a maverick forum in a post about the email - also seems reasonable to me. I'm sorry it doesn't to (many of) you, but, in reality, you may want to be the ones to consider that you're taking yourselves and this process too seriously. Some of us are just trying to buy a truck.
when did you order I am seeing more and more people getting a build scheduled. Many in June, some in July, few in august with the EC version having a much quicker delivery time...

I'm disappointed, I haven't heard a thing from Ford since my initial order confirmation. Hearing something would really be nice!!
Got the Email tonight telling me my Maverick is on their radar and I get the free FITS kit. Nice to hear something and at least I know I have a Maverick coming next year!

Talk about a D*** Tease. I see an email from Ford!! It’s a Thursday!! I’m like, hell yeah I’m getting my truck scheduled!!! Then I read on to find out I’m getting a cup holder! I ordered in June, already removed my bed extender, just schedule the damn thing 🤪. Please don’t send me emails on Thursdays Ford unless your scheduling me! 😜

If you haven't received this yet -- it’s coming, it goes to dealers first. That way we can prep for the incoming calls. Hang in there!
