(driven off 400 days after ordering, for those keeping track).
While seated in the Dealership Thursday November 3, going through the 'final details' prior to the much anticipated 'drive off', the Sales Manager hand delivered "The FITS Box". Wow! It was on the list of 'Things to Ask About', but had been forgotten in the mist of this past year. For the 2023's new to this concept, this FITS box was a 1st Quarter 2022 Ford offering to 'salve the waiting wound' intended to take the sting out of the wait; it may, or may not have worked; it certainly induced a flurry within the MTC gypsies...

- Note the fine print instruction to "Please place in Maverick at Customer delivery". I'm assuming this is a 'boiler plate' item that often went unheeded, forcing many to chase aquisition of this box after the fact.
- This package was shipped August 20, 2022, @ 2.5 months prior to delivery of the vehicle. Better early than never...
