When I first got my 23 hybrid lariat the cigarette power point would stay on forever after truck was turned off.
After the latest reprogram it was turning off when I shut the truck off and been that way for 2 months
Now it stays on for 20 min plus after truck turned off and nothing has been done to the truck.
I'm afraid it has AI and thinking for itself

That's OK, the truck doesn't understand you either!

Have you recently taken any unusually longer trips lately? Possibly your 12v battery took a higher level of charge than it has had in a while.

I've had similar things happen with mine. Honestly I don't think Ford has a clue how the electronics work in these things. Maybe during the 22/23 model years they switch suppliers a few times, so there are a parts with different programing? One update fixes it for one thing, and messes up another. It's frustrating.

I'm guessing it's altering the power going to in cabin accessories based off the battery's state of charge.

I've only got 7,000 miles on mine, since October. But, nothing seems weird about it, except for the fact that it's always telling me about the seatbelts for some time even after the seatbelts are attached and worn. Guess the warning bell isn't enough they want to throw it in your face on the IP.

I'm not about to go messing with any programming, no greater sure-fire way to F-up a car than some backyard fix to thousands of lines of engineering code developed over years...but that's just me.

Exactly. Mav's Battery Management System shuts everything down right away when the battery drops below a certain point.

Yeah I do that. A royal pain. It's unnecessary. If I have my seatbelt ON already (ditto for a passenger) there's no need for a warning on the IP after the belts are attached and the bells have stopped ringing. Just plain dumb.

I think it is FordPass posting updates, and that resets the defaults.

I have found that this truck sometimes takes up to one hour to completely shut down everything except the Fordpass app. This is why the original golf cart battery that came with the truck was destined to fail. Getting an AGM battery as a Christmas present for me.

You can hit OK on the steering wheel to get rid of that nag box, if you're tired of looking at it.

You can also disable the seatbelt chime on a per-seat basis. Instructions are in the User Manual and numerous threads on MTC. I have disabled it for both driver & front passenger seats. You still get the seatbelt nag screen on startup, though.

I do wear my seat belt, any time I'm on a Public road. I've seen way too many mangled bodies ejected from crashed cars in my decades of driving to not wear one.
