I believe spray liner and tint was added to that. Should show that in the description.
Yes. I talked with Internet chat at LMF and was told that the higher price reflected spray in bed liner, window tint and door protectors that were dealer add on's.

If you click on "View Vehicle Details" you can see that at the bottom of the list. Sorry for the confusion.

If Ford keeps cranking out 13K Mavs a month, MSRP discounts will become more common and more than $500 on EBs and hybrids will follow! IMHO...;):)

Of course, lower priced XL's still limited..... Less profit margin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Koons in Woodbridge VA had two 2023 new lariat tremor models for $2000 below MSRP. I bought one, but when I last checked, there were still one there.

I mean, those people have also been driving around in their trucks for a year+ while many of us are are just now receiving their orders.

Everyone has different priorities I suppose.

Incentives only start showing up when they aren't selling. Example, never see incentives on Super Duty but see many on XLT F150s. As long as Maverick is outselling Tacoma, you won't see incentives.
Thanks for the perspective. It's a cool sound bite, however I don't know that I expect Tacoma to stay down, probably due to switchover with 24's just now arriving. I don't nessicairly get why people bought the 23 Tacoma. I was checking out the 24 Tacoma but after sitting in it, the Maverick was a way better value.

Plus those are all 23 models with the 24’s showing up I’d have to say that the $500 helps reflect that. End of the day 8-10 years down the road for resale nobody looks at sale date just model year.

What are the 2023 models you're talking about?

If they were 2023 models - unless you are price protected those are way more desirable to me than a 2024.

The 2023s are less expensive (price increases for 24) and have more options (24s were de-contented).

But for the sake of comparison let's say 10 years from now that MY24 nets you $2,000 more than the MY23 but you initially paid $2,000 more for the MY24 (that is conservative based on price increases).

It is simple time value of money (TVM) that you've made a poor investment. Inflation alone (on average) makes that $2k realized in 10 years only worth about 80% of what it is worth today.

Plus you could take that $2k you saved with a MY23 and shove it in a high-yield savings account (4.5%) for the next decade and it would be worth $3k+, at least outpacing the negative impact of inflation on your money. Or just invest in the S&P and grow it at 9-10% for that same time period.

What does this $495 fee cover?
Nothing, it's just a fee. There is also a $269 etching fee that is added on in finance that the sales guy failed to mention

Ouch. I never paid any dealer fees in the past, until my Maverick. But now I don't feel so bad paying $129 doc fee last year. OTD price on my '23 XL order (including doc fee) was still ~$1600 less than MSRP.
