Tire warranty on brand new Maverick

No. Damage is not covered by warranty.

I do not think there is any warranty provided by car makers on tires; at least there was none on my 21 Mazda; check with the dealer.

If the tire is ripping itself apart after 300 miles, that might be covered.

That is not a warranty claim. They might patch it for free as goodwill to you (but then again I doubt Ford patches tires at all).

ONLY if you had the foresight to drive to Discount Tire and purchase their "warranty Certificates" in the first 30 days or so of getting your truck. If your tire is repairable they will fix it free with or without the certificates

FYI. One reason I always buy my replacement tires through Tire Rack is because they offer a great tire protection warranty (road hazard).

OP, just FYI that there are several threads on the forum where people go to war over whether or not to use plugs, fancier patches, or never patch at all when it comes to flat tires. Worth a read. I'm agnostic on that particular war. Thankfully, Maverick tires are relatively inexpensive to replace, even the whole set if needed.

The Ford dealer that I worked at patched tires. I watched them remove the tire from the rim and install one of those plug/patch combos on my tire. Worked great.

Have you ever used the road hazard warranty? Most recent set of tires I got from Tire Rack we had two flats and had them plugged. Both times I submitted reimbursements and never received checks.

Most recently - I decided to go to Discount Tire who price matched a set of Pirelli Scorpio AS3 from Tire Rack for me. They ended up comping me all 4 tires and install because they only had 3 tires for my scheduled appointment. I even offered to pay for up to 3 tires and take 1 as a discount but they wouldn't take payment.

Guess you can say I'm a Discount Tire fan for life....

I got a screw in my tire at around 6000 miles and took it to discount tire. They repaired the tire and put away my spare and didn’t charge anything. Good service.

Only covered if you bought the optional tire/wheel package from the dealer to cover road-hazard. Otherwise, only defects in manufacturing are covered for a limited time or number of miles.
