Deep sleep mode also affects the Mustang Mach-E especially if it hasn't been driven in awhile like 4-5 days. Ford put a small 12v in the Mach-E and since it is always connected to Ford servers even when the vehicle is off it will slowly drain the 12v battery.
How are you liking your Mach-E so far?

I dislike the way the poll is worded, with the word "issues," while the op says "or even messages in Ford Pass indicating an issue."

Have I gotten messages? Sure, but that has no meaning to me. When I want to drive the truck, it starts right up, and I go, every time. There is no issue for me.

So I chose "yes" for my 22 hybrid, because that is what you asked for. But it has no meaning.

If I start having the issue I’m going straight for this battery and skipping Ford all together.

I was thinking the same, but I will see if Ford will remedy this situation and I won't have to shell out over $200. I have read on these forums that the replacement battery from Ford has the same issues. I will try out the battery from Ford and if it performs the same, I will be forced to buy this battery as a replacement.

Of course as many polls here are it’s kind of unscientific. Hard to cover every scenario as well. It just gives you just a general idea. To me if you are getting notifications it’s an issue whether it be real or perceived.

It used to be if you rarely drove a vehicle you would expect your battery would need to be charged. If those vehicles kept giving you warnings even if it’s your daily driver that would have been very annoying to say the least.

If I were getting these messages I would be at least a little troubled but obviously a message does not always equal being stranded with your vehicle. It’s clear far too many people get them.

I sometimes go two weeks without driving my Maverick, so these messages are no surprise. But I also can also get messages even the same day or the next day after I drive it 50 miles or more.

All it means is that the truck is turning off circuits which drain power needlessly. That is a feature, not a bug.

So why would I be bothered by a notification that the vehicle is doing what it is supposed to do? There is no issue.

So why is your Maverick having to turn off circuits and mine apparently is not ? I have never received one of the messages. Going by your take I might be the one with an issue rather than you.

lol no. Hilarious, but no. It COULD present an issue down the road with faster drainage than normal. That's what they are failing to understand. Is it now? Obviously not if you can start your vehicle.

I'm in your boat too, I never knew I needed "deep sleep mode" to protect my battery from drain before owning a recent FORD that does all kinds of stuff in it's sleep apparently.

Sleep walking FORD's.

One of these days I’ll probably just get a message that says we are going to have to euthanize your truck because it is FUBR😜

Interesting. Yours is obviously a MY22 and yet no issues and no messages. Do you use the Ford Pass app? Do you ever leave it sit for several days without driving? Do you have heated seats and steering wheel ? Cold climate or warm?

I have a '22 XLT hybrid. Last winter the deep sleep messages happened all the time. The colder it got the more I would get the message. My dealership has reset the BMS, and replaced the battery. This pretty much cured the issue for the summer months. But now that the temperatures are dropping, the deep sleep messages have returned. It's not called "deep sleep" anymore, but the symptoms are the same.

I wouldn't mind the missing Fordpass app functionality, but I do miss not having interior lights when I open the door. (I'm in Anchorage, so we have pretty short days) I also miss not being able to use the external keypad to lock / unlock.

My theory is that there's a parasitic draw embedded somewhere in the hardware or software that needs to be rooted out. I also believe the Motorcraft battery they're putting in these things isn't very good.

I have another appointment at the dealer for an unrelated problem, and I will again ask for a solution to this nagging issue.

Model year 2022 and 2023 Hybrid owners have you had any issues with deep sleep/ dead battery or even messages in Ford Pass indicating an issue? Vote yes or no according to your model year.

I would just like to get a feel from the MTC community on how big an issue this really is.
My MY22 Maverick XLT Hybrid (that got sold to Carvana) did originally have about four deep sleep messages.

I just charged the 12V battery overnight.

I never had a DEAD battery just the FordPass App messages. I always was able to READY the Maverick and drive.

After I had TSB-2060 (Grabby Brake Issue) done the Deep Sleep issues went away.

I believe that TSB-2060 also updated the 12V battery charging software.

My MY23 Maverick XLT Hybrid has had no Deep Sleep issues over the month I have had it.

I have a 12 Volt/Temperature gauge plugged into the front 12V Power Socket and the 12 Volt battery voltage has always been between 12.4 and 12.9 volts when not being charged and shows 14.4 Volts when it is being charged.

12.4 Volts Overnight First measurement in the morning

I would respectfully disagree with your statement and this is why:

I daily drive my maverick about 60 Miles a day. Every single time now when I park and go inside I get this message. (And yes I lock the car with the key fob in case anyone was wondering). Here is where my issue raises and why I don't agree it's a "feature", when it's in sleep mode the lights on the inside of the vehicle do not come on at all. The screen also does not come on at all until the truck is started.
Now picture this, someone living in a rural area with no street lights or business lights anywhere and it's pitch black out. You try to get inside your maverick but you can't see anything inside or even where the key is supposed to go to start the truck since it's dark outside and your interior lights or screen are not on because of sleep mode. This happens twice a day for me. Is this really a "feature"?
I live in a rural area too, my nearest neighbor cannot be seen from my house.

I don't see the problem.

The one time that it happened was when my Mav was in the body shop for two weeks. It happened towards the end of second week of no start while awaiting for parts. So I answered no
