Picked up my 2022 cactus gray HYBRID on Dec 23, 2021. I have 40,900 miles and a lifetime MPG of 43.0. I drive conservatively, 68-72 mph on highways. I would estimate 65/35 city/hwy percentages. Still original tires that look like they will go another 15-20k miles (I rotate tires oil change every 10k). Other than the few recalls, 1 emission light issue at just over 36k miles that ford covered as I am a good customer. A solid 10 on a 1-10 scale in my honest opinion.

I have used it to haul my motorcycle a few times for a couple hundred miles each time, MPG kind of sucks there, 16-18 MPG for a 6x12 single axle enclosed trailer, but it is what it is. Right at max tow, 1200 pounds trailer, 700 pound bike...yeah yeah yeah...I know.

I have driven from my home in MICHIGAN to Florida a couple of times, NH a time, several times to Tennessee and SC. Very comfortable and issue free. Usually getting 37-38 MPG on highway at my speeds. In town...incredible. So high I don't want to be called a liar so will leave that to your imagination.

I paid 25200 OTD, Ford A plan employee pricing from family member, included taxes. I just put it into vroom a month ago...they offered 27040. Fn Nuts....yes, I do have a 2024 hybrid ordered. When that comes in, this trusty girl will be going to vroom, carvana or whoever has the best price!

That’s awesome but why would you trade it back for a 2024?
Yes, stock continental tires. I buy 2 new vehicles every 2 years. I do not like to drive past 40k miles. Its just me. I like having a new vehicle. My currents are a 2022 2 door bronco with 2k miles, and this 2022 hybrid with 41k. I use my economical car for all my driving and on vacations. I drive to all vacations and go on 4-6 vacations per year. Mich to Florida for 2-3 weeks, runs me 3,000-3500 miles. Couple trips to Nashville or Pigeon forge TN run me 1500-2000 miles for a week. Other vacations, like NH or Myrtle Beach run me a couple thousand miles for a week. I like having a new vehicle for these trips. I never really get hurt on money when I resell vehicles because I keep them very very clean and like new. Ding and dent free as I park a quarter mile away in shopping centers, etc. So basically, I get new vehicles, use them a year or 2 and pay nothing for the use...nothing wrong with that in my book.
Sold a 2022 maverick EB to a local dealer. Free Ride.
Sold a 2021 4 door sasquatch bronco after a year use. Free Ride.
Sold a 2019 F150 to Carvana after 2 year use, Free Ride.
Sold a 2018 Ecosport to Carvan after 2 year use, Free Ride.

Different strokes for different folks. What makes the world go round.

Those 2 door Broncos really grab me but I'm cheap so I'm perfectly happy with my 23 Mav XLT hybrid :)

No, nothing wrong with it; your timing has been very fortunate IMO. I don't think that at any other time in modern history have you been able to actually come out ahead trading like that. The pandemic initailly created the opportunity and since; shortages, high demand and inflation have kept the opportunities coming. I see no real risks to operating this way. When and if the market corrects, the only risk is that you might actually have to pay for the use of a vehicle. It's a free market after all. I just don't change vehicles often.

Exactly....that's why I LOVE LOVE LOVE my XLT Hybrid maverick....but to be honest, I bought my 2022 2.3 7 speed MT bronco NEW for 30k (employee pricing and price protection) and put new take off sasquatch wheels/tires on it for 2k. Into my bronco for 32k. Can't complain.

Wow I wish I had the funds to do what you do… I can’t even get a maverick in my area… I’ll be honest, I get a little ticked off when people do this. Mainly because most people can’t and it seems unfair that you can just flip your cars yearly and somehow still get the models you want. Just my opinion no hate to you or anyone personally

How did you like the bed tent? I bought one when they were on sale at the Napier site for around $100. I haven't tried mine yet
