Who makes the Hard Tri-fold Bed Tonneau Cover

Does anyone know who actually makes the hard Tri fold cover for ford? I ordered it on my 22 mav. but not on my 23 due to restraints and wanting it built. B ut I love to find the one that the factory uses but not at the factory prices. Any I deas?

I just looked at that one do all three pieces fold up out of the way? That is what I liked aboutthe ford one and dont see a picture with them all out of the way

I think you are right. it is a 4 piece system that all three pieces fold up. That is what I'm looking for unfortunitly it's $1100 just like the dealer. Thanks

The Gator looks just like my Ford Tri-fold.

On the other hand, the BAKflip MD4 looks just like my Ford unit as well.

The Ford OEM hard tri-fold is the BakFlip G2 model made by BAK industries. The difference between the G2 and MX4 is the G2 is gloss black finish and MX4 is Matte Black finish.

Just curious, did you look at CW Limited for the cover? They are like 1/2 the price of the BAK ones for the same design.

I went with LoMax. $800 won me over. It's not a perfect blend like the MX4, which looks really good like it belongs on the Maverick, but I've owned one before and my parents are going on year 6 with theirs. Still holding up.

I did consider CW and Bison covers but their low cost had me a little concerned, I decided to use my Ford pass points to make the higher price a little lower.

I normally prefer the look of matte finishes over gloss and that would have been my preference for tri-fold cover, but I do have the Ford OEM gloss black installed on my truck and I have to say I really do like the gloss finish look of it. It’s not overly glossy looking.
