Not even close! That is like accidentally seeing your own mom naked!
The sweet thing is that you will have the full flex bed instead of the often too narrow bed on the midsize utility trucks. Also it would be easier to ship and produce as a kit.Huh, you learn something everyday. I would have assumed that since these are unibody that all the panels would be welded on.
My mind immediately went to some fiberglass box flare fenders. Hmmm...
Or what about utility bed sides with storage boxes?

Yes....... I'm thrilled. There has been some career counseling as in "last chance" even if you do pay for repairs. This isn't the SAME Mav in your Youtube wreck-repair videos.???.. Say it ain't soo....

David, You have the patience of a "Saint" with your employee/family member.Yes....... I'm thrilled. There has been some career counseling as in "last chance" even if you do pay for repairs.
I hear ya however not being able to assemble a truck because of waiting for 6 specialty clips and trying to order the right ones when it takes less than 2 minutes to pull them - yeah they pull the old ones. Sadly they also charged for the new ones probably at $22.00 each - the same fasteners that never were ordered as well as anything else that could be added. The top rail plastic cap on the bed is easily removed but every estimate Ive seen shows replacement - you think that replacement happened ? How much would you bet the tail light that wasnt damaged on my truck would be in there on an estimate ? Yeah some are totaled however Ive seen MANY that should have been repaired except for the padded estimate.Totally agree, but a body shop would probably spend more money in labor trying to not break plastic clips and salvaging them....body work is so labor extensive/expensive.
You can see the necked structure is so fragile looking that a Maverick, OR ANY NEW MODERN DAY VEHICLE without a frame is so easy to be totaled. Everything crumples for safety and is not designed for easy repair at a body shop. Every things attached with plastic clips or glue. So many rear-ended Mavericks, reported on this site, are TOTALLED. I will predict auto insurance rates of the future will be a steady rise in costs.
Sadly that is true. It is running out tho lolDavid, You have the patience of a "Saint" with your employee/family member.
Not the same offender??Yes....... I'm thrilled. There has been some career counseling as in "last chance" even if you do pay for repairs.
What does the backside of the fender look like?Working on Mavie 2 today - another employee wreck. Video coming soon. I can verify that it is 100% bolt on and no spot welds. Hey I'm going glass half full lol. Thought everyone would enjoy seeing the skeleton on the rear of the Maverick. My warped mind also thought it wouldn't be that hard to produce some bolt on panels that turned it into a step side

It looked just like the exposed metal under the quarter panel. Both are coated in I assume zinc based / anti corrosion primer. Evidently it works pretty well as there isnt any evidence of rust anywhere underneath. Ill add a shot in the video for you of the back of the fenderWhat does the backside of the fender look like?
I am not sure that the unibody inner structure can withstand the stress of the storage compartments body PLUS the weight of tools and supply by simply bolting this on like the rear quarter panels do.Huh, you learn something everyday. I would have assumed that since these are unibody that all the panels would be welded on.
