Chapman Ford allocations & delivery?

Thank you! I understood the application towards down payment and whatnot. Just was not sure what method of payment they were requesting for that and just wanted an estimate on the cost. The last time I had looked it was around $700 or so to Apex, NC.

Yeah, there is no way I am refusing shipment for this truck.

Yeah that's what I did to get my "around $700" figure. I believe he said they used Montway before. Just wanted some actual data, ha.

NOT GOOD. I too ordered from Chapman (Tom/Steven) on 7/22. So if you're way down, I'm even further. Now I'm really sad.

Sent Steven/Tom and email late this afternoon but haven't heard back from them yet. I asked about allocation this month and if they could give me an idea how many Hybrids were in front me. So we'll see if and when they respond. Good luck this week/month.

This weeks scheduling evidently is still using September allocations so alot of dealers will still be out of luck.

What was your build week? I’m trying to determine how long it takes the truck to arrive at Chapman after it’s built (mine is in production this week). Thanks.

Tom's post says specifically "No drop ship" - maybe I misunderstood? The person I spoke with directed me to uShip, but I didn't want to do that. For $200 to deliver it to a Ford dealer here in GA, I would have done. But again I thought that was not an option.

Don’t despair! It’s definitely not a FIFO, I ordered my Hybrid pretty much the same day and it currently says “In Production” + window sticker. However, the latest email from Ford said it’s scheduled for next week so I’m not entirely sure.

Here’s hoping you get scheduled tomorrow.

Priority code 10-19 are customer order priority codes that a dealer can change. 10 is the best the dealer can set you up with, although its a wash if the dealer sets all customers to priority code 10. Ford's scheduling/manufacturing group will typically set it to 2 shortly before it gets scheduled (although that is not always the case).
