Hey, I just ordered a 2024 Maverick with the 2.0 EcoBoost with AWD and the 4K Tow Package. I did a few months of research on the truck, but I still feel like there are some Grey areas when it comes to the real world MPG. I'm set on this truck, but I was wondering what MPG people were getting with the 2.0L EcoBoost so I have an idea when the truck arrives. I'll be happy to take numbers from people with 2022 and 2023 model years with similar packages. Thank you so much for any information you can provide!!!

I have a 2023 Lariat with the EB and the 4K tow. After 2K miles driven (about 60-40 Highway/City split) I'm averaging 27MPG. Last full tank was almost 29MPG. I'm very pleased.

Upper 20's in winter months with winter 87 gas & remote starts, low 30's in summer with 87 summer gas; mixed 4-lane & 2-lane highway, very little city, typically at, or 5 - 10 above the speed limit. Not including heavy loads or towing. Does very well when driven smartly and below 80mph.

Mine is in the upper teens but I do almost exclusively short distance stop and go driving. I did a 300 mile highway trip and drove it carefully and got almost 32. 2022 EB awd 4k. I also have fx4 so no eco mode but I doubt that would make much of a difference.

Wish it was better but at this point it is what it is. My old explorer only manages about 11-12 on the same route. Hybrid would be ideal for me but no AWD or 4k so that was out.

high 28's. Between 28.5 and 29. Consistently over 15,000 miles. 91 or 93 octane depending on what is cheaper.

I had a '22 XL AWD 4k I traded on my ordered Lariat. I got trash MPG in the city, like 17-19, and that was with ECO mode and not blasting the pedal. Did a half country trip, averaged mid 30's.

Had 3 if them (2.0/4k). All got 27ish combined and 30 highway on 87 Octane. Maybe I could do better on mileage but I just drive it the way I want, some days slowish and other not so much. :)

I'm averaging 27 MPG on my 2023 FX4 with 4K tow. I'm right at 2K on the odometer and starting to use cruise control more often with a 60/40 split between city and highway driving.

Currently on CA summer blend 87 octane, cruising at 80+ on the interstate and a sport rack - been a consistent 26.5 average mpg.
If I turn on eco, and drive like a normal person i can usually keep it around 28 - maybe 29ish with 91 octane.

My 23 Eco Boost is getting 26 MPG. Probably a 50/50 split between town and highway.

I only drive about 20 miles round trip on a road that has 12 lights and varies from 35 mph to 70 mph. With my 2023 FX4, with about 800 miles, I've been getting around 24 mpg on this last tank. If I drove more highway, I would get better mileage.
