My certificate has an offer end date of 1/2/2024. But at the bottom, it says it for active FB members. IDK how that applies to a valid certificate printed before the membership expires or is not renewed, but the truck is not delivered until after the membership is not renewed.

@fordvideoguy , do you know how this is handled?

I am willing to renew (I have already used one certificate so I have got my money's worth), but prefer not to if I can get the $500 on the soon to be delivered truck without renewing.

*Farm Bureau Exclusive Cash Reward is exclusively for active Farm Bureau members who are residents of the United States. $500 Exclusive Cash Reward on the purchase or lease of an eligible new 2022/2023/2024 Ford Maverick®, Ranger®, F-150® or Super Duty®. This incentive is not available on Ranger Raptor®, F-150 Lightning®, F-150 Raptor, F-650 and F-750 Super Duty. This offer may not be used in conjunction with most other Ford Motor Company private incentives or AXZD-Plans. Some customer and purchase eligibility restrictions apply. Must be a Farm Bureau member for 30 consecutive days prior to purchase or lease and take new retail delivery from an authorized Ford Dealer's stock by January 2, 2024. See your authorized Ford Dealer for qualifications and complete details. Note to dealer: Claim in VINCENT using #38656.

I have a similar but different question. I signed up for FB a year ago and my membership renews on July 31st. I have already downloaded and printed a certificate. My truck won't be delivered until sometime in August. Will I be able to use the certificate that I already printed after July 31st without renewing my membership?
When you generate the certificate, it will get loaded into Ford's system and link to your name. I would assume if it is expired, it will be removed from Ford's system. Therefore when your dealer tries to apply the discount, it might not come up? You can call up Ford's marketing and they should able to check your account to see if it has any Farm Bureau certificate linked to it.

If I am in your shoes, I would just spend another $20 to renewal(assuming you signed up with Illinois Farm Bureau). $20 and get $500 rebate, or not spend $20 and take a chance on $500 rebate?

The certificate has an expiration on it and I think it's 1 year after it was issued or you printed it

well not really a waste of you know what the organization supports, but it’s best to check with the dealer; they aren’t required to accept it
Maybe my dealer did this differently, but Ford mailed me the $500 rebate after I purchased the truck.

So the dealer had no reason to not file the certificate, as it didn't change the purchase price.

I believe Yuku need to be a member in the year you ordered it or the year it comes in. If you were a member in 2022 when ordered the dealer needs to use the protect date for badging the incentive for the farm bureau to show up. If you are a member in 23 but not in 22 then you would want to use the same date for incentives. All 23MY should be delivered before December 2023.

Thank you Tim.

So you believe I should be OK to not renew my FB membership in 10 days even though I won't take delivery of my order for maybe 30 more days?

I joined in July 22 and had actually printed a certificate to take with me when I placed my order in September 22. The dealer didn't want the certificate at that time. I don't think I still have that certificate, plus the expiration date on that one would have been 1/2/23.

I used another certificate when I bought a Maverick off the lot in March 23.

I have already printed another certificate to use when my ordered hybrid comes in in August 23.

i just went online and applied for the rebate certificate. I’ve been a member of FB for years, so this may not apply to some new members. It says you must be a member for at least 30 days. It instantly gave me the ability to print the certificate and a certificate number. It has an expiration date of 1/2/24. I assume that’s actually the expiration date of the program. FB or Ford may or may not extend the duration of the program.

One question: the “rules” of the program state that delivery must be from “dealer stock”. Does “dealer stock” apply to customer orders?

The vehicle becomes possession of the dealer before you take delivery of it. So, yes, it is dealer stock.

The program typically ends and a new one is instated annually. This sometimes causes a little weirdness if trying to combine with when there were rate incentives at ordering from a preceding year because the new FB program didn't "exist" when the order was placed. Although you can generate certs for prior years and select the order date as purchase date.

Why not just renew your membership and support a worthy organization? Just do it.
I also have not renewed because the initial $20 cost went up to $50 with $30 extra non removable charges on the renewal form.

This is the FB of Illinois

I joined the Farm Bureau for my state a few years ago. They support rural families in my state. I have several friends who farm in this state. It seems like a good cause and a good investment for the confidence you can walk into the dealership and be confident that your certificate is valid.

Great idea to save $30 and not be able to use a $500 rebate.

I would not risk it for $20 in membership fees.
