Or, you could buy a MY2023 XLT EB AWD w/ 4K tow, sliding rear window, SIBL for under $30k? So some asshat loads up an XL hybrid for $39k and that's supposed to make me feel better? I don't even understand the point of your posts.... you must be one of those sorts that likes spending allot of money and getting little in return?

My XL is $25,240. I simply checked how loaded an XL hybrid could get. 19 Options, and 16 Ford accessories later it was over $39K. I ordered the 5 options I wanted on mine. I'm sure an XLT like you mentioned could be loaded up over $45K if you wanted. I certainly wouldn't. I wouldn't want the XLT interior or EB engine either.

No. Not silly at all. I'm so angry about now having to order a $39,000 Maverick (Loaded Lariat) so that I can interact with my dogs while they ride out back. I'm considering not ordering a Maverick next week. I've had a pre-order in since September and I'm considering cancelling the whole thing... as My build has gone from $30k to $39k now. I can't even put into words how angry I am over the loss of a rear sliding window in the XLT trim.

How are you going to $39,000 for the Lariat? Price is going to $34,500 unless you go for FX4 or Tremor which $30,000 wouldn't buy on a 2023. What else are you going to get with a sliding rear window? Under $30,000.

Keyless entry pad is easy to add yourself, and Atlas blue is a good color for 2024, so you should be fine. There's also keyless entry on the Ford Pass app too.

Young people wonder why old people are so grumpy. It's because things were really better in the old days. It used to be that everything was available as a standalone option. Packages were just a bundle of options at a reduced price.

It was possible to order an XL with enough options and accessories that the MSRP was over $39,000. Yes on a 2023 XL Hybrid, not even a 4x4!

Adding every single item is lunacy and shows a poor argument.

looks like not many changes ,but the price! when first ordered an xl hybrid was 21,590 w shipping now its 26,495w /shipping. only about 5,000 , but inflation and economy is fine !!when I looked a f150 lightning pro 39.995 now its over 54,000

Just my $0.02... for those who are worried about the lack of manual sliding rear window... just throwing it out there... couldnt you possibly just call up glass repair shop guys and have them replace it with the manual rear window for a couple hundred bucks from an XLT? If its that much of a need and its not a stand alone option anymore. I would assume its literally a swap, as I dont see how the window size/shape is any different on all 3 trims.

How? I just ran the builder for an XL with just about everything. Not even close unless you add the bed cap.

It is a stupid, but possible build that no one would do.

the fact that Ford sells a million accessories that no one buys together at once and you can option something out to be an insane price doesn’t make this price increase and feature removal any less concerning.

by your own logic, why not go buy one right now at markup as long as it’s a xl under $39k ? Lol

It's a ~$100 Ford Accessory easily added at/after delivery...

The wireless non-factory keypad has a battery that is not replaceable. When it dies, the keypad will be useless.
