I love the fuel efficiency and the comfortable ride and ride height. It's kind of a cross between the ride comfort and height of our SUV and the fuel efficiency of our hybrid. The best of both worlds updated since one of our vehicles is 21 years old and the other about 18. So definitely time for an upgrade. It's got some pep to it as well. The interior cab and bed size are perfect for our needs, and the versatility to be able to make it your own is really such a plus. We've only had it a couple of weeks, but it is definitely worth the wait.

I personally like that it is invisible on the road. The upside of the bland, conventional styling is that nobody notices it and it blends in with all the midsize trucks - which I like. Also I like that it is a cheap and disposable automotive appliance, and that I don't have to worry about scratching it inside or out. And that it seems to be holding resale value so far - which matters to me because I have zero intentions of owning it one day past warranty expiration. And lastly that I seem to have won the Maverick recall lottery - getting a magic build date last September that missed all of the recalls (fingers crossed).
You missed, throw down piece.

1. The fact that it apparently is getting built. XL Hybrid w/trailer hitch, ordered 9/17/22, scheduled for production 8/3/23. The odds were pretty low.

I really planned on buying an EB off the lot this fall. Whoo Hoo!!!

Got my Maverick this week. Xlt luxury hybrid with copilot 360 in hot pepper red. Very nice so far. Ordered a 2022 on November 12th 2021. Reordered a 2023 on October last year. Took 543 days from original order. The dealer was awesome. Paid original agreed upon price. Carson city (capital ford) was great. Thanks to Zach for putting up with me for a year and a half.

Comfy interior
Smooth ride
Gas milage
Solid feel (especially when closing doors)
I was having to roll the window down 1" in order to close the driver door. Pressure relief bellow behind the rear seat seemed to be OK. So I lifted and locked the rear seat upwards and that solved the problem. Apparently not enough pressure was getting past the down position seat. Now doors close as designed with just a light nudge without cracking a window.

Well, I suppose you could say my expectations that there might be a few minor hiccups in the ordering/build process were exceeded by a considerable margin of incompetence I didn't imagine possible on the part of Ford corporate and Stott Ford in Tryon, North Carolina.

1. The ACC and lane assist have made my monthly 900 mile RTs an enjoyable experience. Probably won’t own another vehicle without it!
2. After driving my F250 for a couple months before I got my 22 Mav, the turning radius and parking is astounding and a dream!
3. The airflow when the moonroof and rear window are open is amazing and the mpg is even better!
4. Way too fun to drive - hence 27,000 miles!
5. Koji is loving how much extra room he has in the back now that I put everything in the bed🤣
6. If the resale value wasn’t as good as it is there is no way I’d be trading my 22 for my 23 that was delivered yesterday.
7. And everything else already mentioned!

2023 Maverick Lariat Hybrid, LUX, BAP, CoPilot 360 & Assist, tonneau cover rollup hard, SIBL with cleat system, Power Moonroof, Ford Splash Guards, Remote start system.

Overall quality is excellent

Solid ride with little road noise, handles well better than my Edge Sport

Amazing MPG 48 City 39 Hwy on recent road trip can go higher with just city driving

Adaptive cruise control with lane centering makes highway driving much less stressful/tiring

Value for price paid, luckily a positive dealer experience

How do you like the hard roll up cover?? Trying to decide between that and the tri fold.

Love the remote start speed. The app works wonderfully as well.
I love how the truck senses the exterior cold and automatically blows hot. And how it detects exterior heat and turns the AC on.
I'm still surprised how darn easy on fuel this thing is! I don't have the hybrid and I'm blown away how fuel efficient this thing is. It gets the same fuel economy as my Civic!!!
The amount of things I can do with the bed is outstanding. It's so versatile for its size!
And I love how Ford continues to use their firm seats. Definitely one of the comfiest vehicles I've owned since my Crown Victoria.

Area's that so far have *exceeded* my going-in expectations, mostly based on the cost of the truck & market perceptions: (7 months, 13k miles)

1) Overall driving dynamics....really impressive in all aspects. Actually fun to drive, and still very capable of real "truck" work. Rare combination.

2) FE. Averaging 31 mpg during the summer, on 87 fuel, mixed driving/work with heavy highway bias. Just outstanding!

3) Driver comfort. For such a small footprint, the drivers position/ergonomics is outstanding.

4) Exterior fit & finish. Panel gaps, trim fit, paint finish, all really nice, and better than some much higher cost vehicles I've had...(Acura, are you listening?)

5) Reliability. ZERO issues so far....

Everything else is pretty much as-expected, and no real disappointments (things I didn't know). Overall a real superstar vehicle with unmatched value in the current market. 🤠

That's kind of weird, but I actually like it. I feel a personal connection to my Mav and plan to keep it forever, but I can see your point. I would insert a Thumb Up emoticon but I don't know how to do that.
