Stumbled across this in the user manual and I confess, I'm unfamiliar with this feature. Anyone experienced the "starting time limit"? Know what it's for or what it does?

P. 163 in manual reads:
MessageAction
Cranking Time ExceededDisplays if you exceed the starting time limit. You cannot attempt to start the engine for 15 minutes. If you cannot start the engine after 15 minutes passes, have your vehicle immediately checked.

More details on page 164 under Why does the engine not crank?
You can only attempt to start the engine for a limited amount of time before the starting system temporarily disables. If you exceed the starting time limit, a message may appear and you cannot attempt to start the engine for at least 15 minutes.

Never experienced this, it’s just another way to prevent someone from likely burning out a starter or causing other engine or fuel system damage in the event the engine won’t start for a myriad of reasons.
