For consumers like me, I wanted a truck, for a good price, that got GREAT gas mileage, and had step up models with all the gadgets! It's nearly hear. Just another week or two until delivery!

The hybrid checked all the boxes. I’ll be replacing two vehicles with it. The ecoboost doesn’t get the mileage, a Ranger definitely doesn’t.

Driving my lariat hybrid for 2 weeks and 2000 miles now it’s the perfect vehicle for me and my needs. Totally worth the 8 months of waiting.

Ford hit a home run with the Maverick hybrid. Awesome mpg’s, seamless transition from gas/electric/gas. Plenty of power, quiet and rides so smooth.

I couldn’t be happier. Bravo Ford!!! Hopefully it gets the other manufacturers off their asses and into the compact truck market.

Gotta say, for all of us who ordered and those who HAVE the Maverick, this article is not a surprise (or at least it does not come as a surprise). We all have experienced (& future owners too) the love for this truck with a bit of the hateful wait (anywhere from 7-10 mos).

Those who ordered in June/July/August (and even much later) know/knew how popular Maverick Hybrid would be just due to the appeal of a truck with a standard hybrid-type engine (base model). I believe most of us knew it would be some time before a semi-custom order would be fulfilled & delivered for purchase.

I guess Ford Authority had to say something after close to 10 months since the announcement.

In the 23+ years I've been driving, this is my first new car. I've always bought used cars. But who knew in the time where cars were all way inflated in price Ford would come out with a nice little truck that was actually very reasonably priced??
