Probably because there is no compact category. Can you imagine having a mid size truck and a compact truck having better quality lolFord Maverick is a small pickup so why do they have it in the mid size category?![]()

I think this is vocal few. If it was a true dumpster fire there would be at least one class action lawsuit. Also, most of the gripes here are wig the order process in general, not usually with the vehicle itselfI am hoping this little microcosim of spirited and vocal Mav owners are not reflective of the overall ownership experience. This is where the few, the vocal, the sometimes shrill and whiny can vent.
If not, the Mav will have a lifetime shorter than this vehicle.

Maybe they finally got their act together. No one ever knows with jeep lolI call BS, as we say in Yankee land. there’s no way a Jeep product has fewer issues than a Ford or anything else.
First time on MTC? jK yeah some people are wild but that's the way life is. Most here are chill and want to talk Mavs for a little bit before getting on with lifeI’m having a little fun with this thread, but I’m starting to think that many people are serious

Where would Mavericks be without >40MPGMav #1 if it wasn't for the hybrids![]()
The one I remember is from the Tokyo Olympics….I’m trying to remember, but can’t. Please remind me of the last time 2 people got a gold medal for the same event.

The Pinto had many less deaths versus the GM trucks that had the side saddle gas tanks.I am hoping this little microcosim of spirited and vocal Mav owners are not reflective of the overall ownership experience. This is where the few, the vocal, the sometimes shrill and whiny can vent.

and lest we forgetThe Pinto had many less deaths versus the GM trucks that had the side saddle gas tanks.
" The non-profit Center for Auto Safety estimated that more than 300 people have died in side-crash fires in GM trucks since 1973. Twenty-seven people died during the 1970s in fuel tank fires in the Ford Pinto."
Seems accurate since my 14 year old ram has only needed brakes and a battery since I purchased it new. I plan on getting 10 more years out of it.i hope my maverick is as reliable!
Which one lasted in the market longer? That was the point of my thread. But thanks for the enlightenment, just another reason I really never ever wanna own a GM product. The Pinto had many less deaths versus the GM trucks that had the side saddle gas tanks.
