Some water intrusion during car washes, but it is minimal.
Have some difficulty putting the prop bars up, but rarely needed.
Can’t beat the price for a solid tri-fold tonneau.
Some foam pieces are losing their adhesion, but haven’t fallen off yet.
Would buy again.
Thanks for the info. mice to know your opinion from real experience.

My 2023 Maverick has just arrived in Toronto and I'm looking at cover options. How happy have you been with your Bison? How do you like the fit of it? How "waterproof" is it?
Very happy with it, would absolutely recommend it. Fit was great. There is some water intrusion, but I don't know how you could have something like this seal 100%. I saw a Ford tri fold on a Mav at the dealer, looked exactly the same aside from the decal.

Cheers.

How is everyone's Bison tonneau holding up? Mine's starting to rust after less than 1 year, I've emailed them about this, we'll see how they respond

It rained heavily overnight right after I installed it, no water inside. Haven't driven in the rain yet.
Did you install a seal along the sides or along the bulkhead? I managed to get a cover used tonight (guy upgraded to a cap) and he provided some but just short pieces of the seal material. I might order some longer strips on Amazon.

edit: seems like I should buy some, if anyone has a brand of seal they have had good luck with please share the link, thanks!

Web site says they have a video of the tri fold soft cover, but only show a hard trifold installation. Is it the same installation process/rails/etc?

I didn't add the provided seal along the bulkhead, the rubber flap seemed to do a good job on it's own. The only spots that might be worthwhile are the two front outside corners where the seals taper down to the bulkhead. I didn't do them either, figuring the tailgate has lots of gaps that rain will get in regardless, and it's still a truck bed :).

Cheers.

Gave those spots a shot of Krown/Rust Check stuff after the winter. Just the nature of the beast in the rust belt, unlikely to get Chinese parts like this e coated from the factory.

Cheers.

Yup that is exactly what I'm going to have to do, I checked with them and this isn't covered by warranty. I saturated it with WD40 as a short term solution and cleaned the area as best as I could so that should last a month or so. But 100% after this coating wears off, I'm getting the Rust Check.

Good call, I’ll probably coat it all prior to install.

I installed mine yesterday without the drain tube for now. I have factory drop in bed liner didn't have the cutouts. Can I drill holes and get the correct spot or do I need to remove the sides on the liner?

The hole locations are marked on the back of the factory liner sides, so you're going to need to pull them out and drill them from the back side.
