I was really interested in the matte tonneau covers for my Ranger, but ultimately went cheap and picked up a soft tri-fold from amazon warehouse for about $170. It actually turned out pretty well (it is Gator brand I think?). Anyway, I will be getting what I wanted for the Ranger on the maverick - hard roll-up with the matte canvas finish. That or a soft topper!

At least the eCVT is made in the US? I wonder what kind of premium it would actually add to the vehicle to make it in the states. To be fair though, I bet there is much less of a labor shortage in Mexico than in the US right now. Does not help that kids are basically funneled into college vs manufacturing.
I know this isn't really the forum for this, but here I go anyway! I agree that kids/people don't seem to be aware of how good trade jobs really are. I spent 26 years in the Air Force and got more employment after the AF from the technical knowledge I was taught and learned than I ever did from the Bachelor's degree or the 2 Master's degrees I have!!

I have the Truxedo on my F150 and it’s been a great value. 4 trouble free years.
Do you hand wash your truck? I'm curious because I read an article that recommended not running your truck through a car wash with the tonneau cover on.

Yea there is very little visibility into the trades. I make six figures as a specialized prototype machinist doing aerospace work, but if I had not kinda stumbled into the trade, there is no way I would have found it on my own. Shame really, because there are a lot of high paying jobs right now in the trades and the training tends to be on the job, so virtually no debt is accrued.

You are so right! College is pushed way too much and there are so many high paying jobs in trades on top of little to no debt learning like you said!

I mostly hand wash, but it’s been run through he car wash maybe a dozen times in 4 years. It’s held up.

Which model did you get? seems like they have a few to pick from and some seem very similar. The two soft rollups seem almost identical but there is a $200 cost difference.
Shoot I don’t recall but it was in the $300 range if memory serves

So, if I'm looking at things correctly, a tonneau cover from this place runs anywhere from $299 - $930, yet to get a tonneau from Ford with your build, it costs $1160. Might be time to save some money on the build and buy an aftermarket tonneau cover.
Isn't that price for the first edition package? If so that pckge includes moon roof and graphics.
