What does this mean? Hybrid Engine 40%?
Yeah, exactly what do those numbers mean?

Does 5% soft folding covers mean they have enough covers for 5% of the trucks they plan to build in the next scheduled run? In that case, it wouldn't be a problem if only 5% of orders included them.

Similarly 40% Hybrid would not be a big squeeze if only 50% of orders are for hybrid.

But I don't think the percentage relates to planned production for any given schedule week. Seems it relates to total backlog or something like that.

It'd be great if an insider could clarify this for us.
I'm wondering if this is just a re-wording of their previous statement that hybrids would only be about 30% of initial builds since supposedly about 3/4 of orders are hybrids (40% of 75% is about 30%).

So is the "Lariat (Ultimate) Package (54P)" referring to the Lariat trim level in general or specifically the Lariat Luxury package?

The way I understand it is that 40% of the Hybrid orders can be produced. So 60% can't it isnt a Hybrid vs Eco at that number.
Can't be quite that simple. There has to be a build period or target capacity involved somehow. Naturally they can't produce all ordered Hybrids in any given week just based on plant capacity.

Still scratching my head and probably will continue to until I get my scheduling email and then it won't be my problem anymore :ROFLMAO:

Going to answer my own question, it appears 54P refers specifically to the Lariat Luxury Package.

This is not really news, right? I mean, if we were in a big hurry to get a new vehicle we would have already gone on to some other make or model.
I have resigned myself to the fact that it may be 6 months before I see my Mav.
This is a first world problem, I guess. I mean, we have a couple of vehicles and we are both retired so I can wait for this.

I've been reading posts about folks removing splash guards from their order because of commodity shortage, but I don't see them on this list.

What does this mean? Hybrid Engine 40%?
I don't know. But an earlier post, dealing with the August 20 constraints, explained it like this:
0% means there's none available at all.
14% means only 14% of total Maverick production is allowed to have that commodity.
17% means only 17% of total Maverick production is allowed to have that commodity.
If that's correct, then it could mean that up to 40% of the Mavericks scheduled for production this time around can be hybrid. That would be really good news (for me, anyway).

I think they are on the "Late Availability" list, which is a different kind of constraint. I found this on the build page:

Yeah. If that's the case, the hybrid is actually less constrained than previously thought.
