I just created an account too. That part ok. But when I go to tracking my order it wants a vin. I'll check again later and see if I can get past that. Thus far it says I have no order, even though I get the 45 day love letters.

I wonder if they're doing something across the board with their ordering system because I didn't receive my 45 day email today and I refuse to believe that means anything lol

A few things:
Thinking about how the site works and all, I am guessing there's a script or stored procedure that links the orders to the accounts for the website that seems to run at intervals. This would explain the weird "15 minutes ago it wasn't there but now it is" behavior.

Also, as noted, its not under "My orders & reservations". If you look there, you won't see it. You have to log in, click on My Account/YourName Account

Now for me, it shows everything twice like a few others have:

And this is weird the more I look at it. It says 'In production' on this page, but the tracker still says 'scheduled'.

Could be. But I'm not sure why they would have a UI and batch email system that intertwined where maintenance on one kills the other.

I created an account under the email I get Dear John letters and it doesn’t even show that I have an order.

Ok, hope springs infernal.

A report here on my first experience with ford.com.

After the usual sign in/password confusion I got past that. Then when I went to my order status it, and I did not give it a vin which I do not have, but I did give a sales code with a typo, it said I had nothing on order.

So I went to chat. Here are a few notes from the Ford Chatter:

"Also your order has been receive, successfully edited and is awaiting scheduling action. I see that you ordered quite some time ago {9-22}. I know playing the waiting game can be taxing, but I can assure you we are presently exploring every opportunity to increase production and accelerate the delivery of your vehicle."

Then I asked about whether there is any point in coming to ford.com if I do not have a vin. He said:

"....no you will need a VIN. Though I do see that your vehicle is ramping up for production with the latest action taking place last week, so the wait for a VIN should not be much longer."

I have no prior experience with Ford chat so I don't know how much trust to place in the comment.

I haven't heard anything about this. I know that ordered vehicles can be associated w/ your Ford account online....but that certain vehicles like Maverick originally weren't (for some reason). My own Maverick order (June 2021) never showed up on my account.
I can't recall seeing any update about this feature recently, but they must have made some updates!
Can you tell me more about getting a Ford Account? This is the first I have heard about it.

Click My Account, click sign in, click create account. Be sure to use the same name and email that you gave the dealer when you ordered your Maverick. Note: the log in was down as of a couple of hours ago. It might be back up, but it is also possible that account creation is also affected.

I got nothing, but just for shi*s and giggles, maybe make sure all your other info is correct too. My address and phone numbers were all blank. I've updated them. Crossing my fingers! I really need this truck.

The last two non-update, update emails came exactly on day 45. Today was day 45 to receive the 4th installment of supply chain delays, and I did not receive one. I am also not able to see even an order on the Ford.com website.

Edit: Got my supply chain e-mail this morning at 6:37am (Mar 16, Day 46). So does this mean I'm not getting a scheduling e-mail today?
