Sometime early in Nov hybrids will not be orderable until summer 22. Gov't quotas

There must be 25-30 threads on this board detailing the limited supply of hybrids - Ford underestimated the demand, chip shortages, the EPA, plant closings in Hermosillo, when am I going to be scheduled, etc. etc. etc. And now we have the undefined Government quotas. What in the actual hell?

I'm pretty sure the "Gov't quotas" comment was just a joke.

Or maybe just the old "It's all the government's fault!" reflex.

Either way, there's nothing that I know of supporting the idea of a government quota delaying hybrids. Mostly it's just a combination of COVID problems, interrupted supply chains, and Ford's prediction that only 40% would order hybrids.
