Great pictures. Thank you for sharing all of that.
Did you buy a Lariat grill or modify yours? Can you show us your end result?

It's just wedged in between the grill. That's why its important not to cut too large of an opening. I circled the places where the grill makes contact with the cover in this picture. So what holds the cover on? Does it clip onto the CCM? Or does the bumper push against it and sandwich it on?
I wonder if there is a minimum height off the ground for the sensor to work.It appears that both of those options out the sensor much higher up than it would be on a stock Maverick, in the lower bumper.
It's a great question. Just not an experiment I personally want to participate in.I wonder if there is a minimum height off the ground for the sensor to work.
Oh, crap. I thought this was the thread about adding CC to an XL... My bad for not paying attention, LOL.Oh damn, here I was assuming it'd take a full weekend. As for the airbag, I thought we were just needing to wire under it, not remove it? I must have missed the video on the steering wheel going through these posts but I'll be sure to check through again before starting. Super excited to get this ACC/ Lane centering added to my XLT Lux!
did you just strip the casing off the cat5e and unwind it to get your four different color strands? This all looks pretty good. It's pretty much what I paid for my all my parts.
For the CCM pigtail, I bought that exact one. You might need to waterproof the connector a bit(Clear silicone) though as I noticed on mine from the same vendor that the terminals are a little exposed on the backside.
For the odds and ends I bought this from Amazon. Some stuff I already had like the ring terminal and wire for the CCM(I used Cat5E cable)
Fuse Tap
Harness Tape
Heat Shrink connectors
You can get away with buying Cat5e wire at home depot. About 20ft should do.
