Raise the price. A lot. Until supply balances demand. They can always discount it later. Ford is a business. Not a charity.

I wager heads are rolling at Ford now for underpricing the Maverick and misjudging demand. Pretty sucky business acumen.
I could not respectfully disagree more. A good business model involves being first out the door with a reasonably priced, innovative product that makes people feel they cannot live without it. Get it out there, bang the drum and control the market segment. There will be the johnny come lately crowd from GM, Toyota and Stellantis but by then the Maverick name is synonymous with the small pickup brand. Ford will sell at least 50% of the segment and the other 3 will fight for the rest.

I'd just like them to make it exactly as they are but DEPENDABLE. I don't care that it's a cheap truck with few amenities and off the shelf parts. I very much care about the potential of it dying on me. I need a vehicle to dependably, consistently run. Is that really asking too much, Ford? Get your house in order before you start worrying over all these trinket requests.

A tissue, a copier/MFD/printer, a bandage. Not picky about brands so long as quality is there. But then I can tell the difference between a product category and a well-known brand...

  1. 60/40 split rear seat for underseat storage.
  2. Go back to all inclusive CoPilot360 for MY2024. stop packaing the Copilot360 and Copilot360Assist as seperate items... you didn't do it in 2022... now you are in 2023... it's confusing.... .
  3. Better XLT interior color scheme... Ditch the Orange, Navy Pier, and White.
  4. Package PoweredSunroof and PoweredRearSlidingWindow together as an option for XLT and standard for Lariat.
  5. Fog Lights / Driving Lights for Maverick, Maverick w/ FX4, Maverick Tremor.

I have been driving for 23 years and wouldnt buy it without a key, wish to god it had hand crank windows and only have to charge the battery in my phone every few days, since im not a teenager. I just have one of those talky type phones with the buttons.
Agreed!

I would like hand crank windows.
Deeper door pockets.
larger sun visors.
Eliminating the useless dash cubby.
A real shifter.
Plastic that doesn’t scratch when you look at it.

As is, I feel that Ford pulled off a Henry Ford; the Mav delivers more than I paid for. Change options, I would like Sport shifting much like in the 2016 Ford Escape….and options to upgrade the passenger seat to be like the drivers seat (in XLT and Lariat). Very happy I took the plunge in 2022 to order sight unseen.

FOG LIGHTS! They could easily add them to a package and recover the cost of them. It is beyond ridiculous that this vehicle doesn't come with fog lights.

I can get a stinking Fiesta with fog lights! I can get a stinking Ecosport with fog lights!

Maverick? Naaahh, take a hike.

The best change they could make IMO is making the plastics on the interior either a little harder, changing the formulation of the plastics or change the texture that they have so they do not scratch so easily.

My biggest gripe is still the lack of select-shift......inexcusable for a truck!

And I'd love to see the side mirror spot light option like the F150. Loved those!

Except they were separate for 2022. CoPilot360 Assist features (ACC, rear parking sensors) were never part of CP360. Rather they were separated from the Lariat Luxury Package.

I would be happier with the scratchy plastic if they were all the recycled material plastic, but only a inner portion is on the Maverick and Bronco Sport.
