I’ve been waiting since Oct 9 2021 and put in my reservation Aug 2021. I’m so tired of waiting I’m considering giving up. When I ordered the Maverick was new and exciting. I had never actually seen one. Nobody was allowed to drive one on YouTube. Now I’m kind of bored with them and I’ve watched so many videos that if I ever do get one, it’s going to seem like something old to me. Further, just because you wait patiently for months or years doesn’t guarantee that in the end you will actually get one. My order was pretty simple without heavy constraint items. The mental anguish of not knowing whether to spend money on my 28 year old 12mpg daily driver or wait on this is making me crazy. My wife and daughter are tired of Maverick videos and make fun of me. My real truck friends say im going to lose my man card if I get a Maverick. To top it off im a Chevrolet guy. Why do I subject myself to this Ford order nonsense. The lure of 37mpg at what was once cheap but now close to $30k after the price increases plus I got screwed out of the $2750 private offer. I guess I’m just venting. Carry on.

Yo, Bo...

We're in the same category here in rural New Hampshire. My family is sick of the whole thing and I'm startin' to think they're all right. Tired of borrowing trucks to make the weekly dump run. Should call it quits and buy an old Taco but I got $600 worth of Maverick-specific accessories sittin' in the garage waiting for the truck to put 'em on. And switching from Hybrid to EB isn't gonna help me if my dealer has no allocations. Who thought??

They used to tell me "If you're in a hole, stop diggin'". Too late now, my friend. they've been pumpin' in air down to me some 14 months already. if I come out in China I'll try to rustle up some chips, drop 'em in Hermosillo with our names on 'em.

Best of luck next week.

So, I've seen VINs being scheduled that are in the 28,000 range. How many Mavericks is Ford going to make in the 2023 Year group? Being the first Hybrid at my dealer, I'm still unscheduled. Just waiting.
They made around 108,000 last year. No one know for sure how many they will make this year.

Yeah but the nice thing about last year was that production started in September of '21 but only ended in late November of '22.

Ford doesn't have that extra few months this go around.

Them putting you all at 10s or all at 11s makes no difference.
The speculation is that other (non-rollover) orders got the 10s. In which case it would make a huge difference.

Actually 22 production started in June of 2021. But there was the usual slow ramp up of a new model. The first 3 months they produced a total of less than 2000 Mavs.

So yes, they produced 22s for 18 months. But if they can average 10K per month (near their 23 scheduling rate so far). They could make 110,000 in eleven months of 23 production.
