It would be a huge HELP for folks that missed the 2023 order window if members who learn about up for grabs 2023s would post THE INFO in this thread.

I have been communicating with a few Florida dealers, to let them know I really want a 2023 Hybrid. So far, no luck. Wasn't expecting any yet.

I will do my best to post when I learn about available 2023s.

But- I think that 2023s are going to be pouring out of the factory starting in January, and that 2023s will become available for those who do not have an order if they move fast.

I think creating this thread is a good idea. It should go in the Mavericks for sale sub-forum rather than the ordering one. And, if the forum owners allow it, this topic could be pinned to the top.

Do you think the asking price must fall below a specified markup? For example, a dealer in Orange County CA is sitting on 6 2022 Mavericks that are marked up more than any reasonable person should pay. We should not help this dealer overcharge consumers for their new inventory.

I also think referring potential customers to a specific salesperson at that dealership is appropriate.

Not so sure about "pouring" out as in an abundant supply on the dealer lots - especially hybrid version, but they will definitely be building them. Wish you success in your endeavor!

Hybrids will be luck of the draw. Might be able to stumble on some EcoBoosts this summer, though.

Lol, yeah. I think they will be pouring out of Hermosillo, but only trickling onto dealer lots. I just want one.

As far as asking price goes... personally I'd like to know what is out there.
Then I can decide if it's too high for my tastes.
Plus- everything is negotiable, the bigger the markup, the more negotiable.

Yeah, referring to a certain sales rep is a plus.

I say put them all out there. The buyer will accept the price or negotiate as desired. We shouldn't determine the "too much" amount.

Referrals for good dealers are a plus as is reporting a bad dealer with a Maverick on the lot. At that point it's buyer beware.

Strictly a guess, for a hybrid anticipate/prepare for 5-10 K in ADM, if less, consider yourself lucky. Their car dealers, they know your drooling for one and they've got the only one available....... grease up

Fair enough.

The last time I checked, Villa Ford in Orange CA had 6 Mavericks: 1 XL, 3 XLTs, and 2 Lariats. I am fairly certain all 6 are EBs and are marked up $7500-10000 the last time I checked (several weeks ago). Details can be found here: https://www.villaford.com/new-vehicles/maverick/

You have to either stop by (to see the addendum sticker) or call for pricing.

None of the other dealers nearby have new or used Mavericks on the lot as far as I can tell.

The only hybrids “pouring out of Hermosillo” will be to fill existing customer orders, like mine that I’ve had for 15 months now. However, I’m so sick of dealing with every aspect of the word FORD, I may just flip it.

HPR hybrid lariat lux BAP with both 360s. Make an offer over $40,000.

I did not look it up but as I recall the Maverick production is typically around 6,000 to 10,000 a month including trucks that are shipped to Canada and other countries.

There are over 3,000 Ford Dealerships in the US.

Stock orders will be rare on dealers lots for the foreseeable future.

What is the downside of not having a price rule? If someone wants to pay 10k over, they should be able to. If someone doesn't want to, they don't have to. And who's to say what this magic figure is? Each market is different.
Because those of us who refuse to accept markups over MSRP would rather not see others provide free advertising to those dealers, which only serves to perpetuate what we disagree with.

My converted '22 (so now a '23) is set to be built on the 20th of Jan. I'll bet few conversions will be available since we've been waiting well over a year. Perhaps when they start on the new orders..........

Wish you God Speed on your order and delivery! I know it's been a long and aggravating wait. Our fella MY22 order holders deserve theirs ahead of new orders.

Agreed. In addition, people will be able to see pricing trends. Which will be downward.
