I got a text and a call from a dealer in Naples, FL yesterday. They have a 2023 White XL Hybrid at $5000 over MSRP.

I told the nice lady that it was too rich for my blood, and she IMMEDIATELY replied "would you like to make an offer"? Based on her response (and my 10+ years in the car business) I'd guess they would take $2000 to $3000 over, no problem.

XL Hybrids probably will not command as much ADM as other Hybrids since it appeals to people who are cheap looking for the most value. And therefore are not willing to pay a high ADM

At the end of the month there will be an ecoboost Lariat Lux BAP in Carbonozed gray available at MSRP + tax paid ($39.5k I think)
Only thing is it will have the standard Lariat headlights

I've been tracking Autotrader's 2023 Hybrid listings.
In the past 10 days or so it's gone from around 440 nationwide to 515 today.

Let's see where this goes.

I may have a 22 hybrid xlt for sale when my 23 arrives in a few weeks but dk if i want to part with the hybrid its growing on me..my 23 is an EB xlt with lux pkg. so will wait and see, Sux there is no farm bureau discount i can see when i get this one at my dealer in a couple weeks hopefully ...It says was shipped last week

I think creating this thread is a good idea. It should go in the Mavericks for sale sub-forum rather than the ordering one. And, if the forum owners allow it, this topic could be pinned to the top.

Do you think the asking price must fall below a specified markup? For example, a dealer in Orange County CA is sitting on 6 2022 Mavericks that are marked up more than any reasonable person should pay. We should not help this dealer overcharge consumers for their new inventory.

I also think referring potential customers to a specific salesperson at that dealership is appropriate.

I agree we should not have to pay over and let them make even more money

I just passed on a bare bones 2023 hybrid xl (at 1k over msrp) in NJ because it didn't have 360. I'm finally getting a bunch of inbound calls for hybrid availability. There is also a large dealer in FL that is selling XLs for 2500 over list and XLT/lariat for 4k over list (and had a lot of inventory a few weeks ago).
