They were high demand for 2022.......people had to drop to get scheduled. Now for 23, they increased capacity, but not as many people ordered because they were concerned about the 2022 constraints.
Yes, or in the case of the new 23 Tremor, it was expected to be constrained so not enough people ordered it.

That's pretty impressive! I have argued all along with my wife that with the small amount of driving we do with virtually no stop and go driving that the difference in fuel milage between Hybrid and Ecoboost does not add up to very many $$$$.
I was kinda thinking the same thing at first before I got my hybrid but it does make a difference at least for me. The lowest I have got on mpgs has been about 33mpg and the best I got was about 57mpg. It obviously makes a difference on how you drive and traffic conditions I don't speed much and I am in some traffic to my second job. For me I would still choose the hybrid. Just my 2 cents.

Yes, that too! And the tremor orders started late, right? There wasn't a whole lot of time to fit orders in the small amount of time after they gave details about the Tremor!

Well at least we have some clarity.

- Only 46% of Hybrid orders will get built
- Only 57.7% of XL orders will get built
- There are no significant package commodity restrictions
- Everything is back to the old days where commodity plan and allocations rule

It’s all down to your place in line at the dealer. If you’re near the front and they have allocations, you’re chances are good. If not…

With the revelation in package availability, I just hope everyone doesn’t pile on the commodities to create a new problem.

What happens to the private offer if we change??
Nothing, it stays the same as originally assigned. I changed and the offer stayed attached to the order.

If it was the hybrid $2750 it stays the same and is actually a better deal for an EB order.

I wish there was a way to add this package even if you're scheduled. I wouldn't even mind moving my scheduled date to have this.

Of course for those of us who DID order Tremors, could not put in an order for several days due to ordering issues and therefore toward the bottom of the line at a dealer in Maverick orders. So we will now risk not getting a Maverick if a significant number of people switch to Tremor orders. Not a good notice for us.

I get that the hybrid is the popular option, and I feel for those people, but selfishly I'm happy that I have an EB order with a bunch of the under-capacity packages (lariat lux, etc).

I'm going to be using it a lot for camping/skiing in the Rockies, so AWD was a non-negotiable for me. And I think I've talked about this before in these forums, but the MAIN draw for me with the Maverick it its SIZE.

Apart from the hideous (my opinion) Santa Cruz, there literally is no other option for a small truck. Unless I wanted to pay $15k for a 10+ year old tacoma with 200,000 miles on it.

I think the hybrid numbers going up is a function of the cancelled VINs. They added to the numbers.
Yes that could be, but the majority of those are now scheduled. So it brings up the question, are these total 23 order numbers, unscheduled order numbers or unbuilt orders? @fordvideoguy

Unfortunately, I was in contact with my dealer yesterday after he tried to process my change from a hybrid xl 2.5 to a Ecoboost 2.0, and he said that that switch was not allowed, that Ford would be making no more 2.0 Mavericks this year. A group member said this was because motor switches are not allowed, but the communication from the dealer was specific re the 2.0 availability being maxed out. I THOUGHT I had read earlier that the 2.0 switch was encouraged, as they dropped the extra cost for that motor. Any advice on actually GETTING a truck appreciated, otherwise stuck singing the "35% BLUES"
This is the actual wording from my dealer: My GM attempted to change the order to an Ecoboost motor, but the Ford ordering utility would not accept this change. It informed him that the Ecoboost engine had received an early balance out, meaning no more non-hybrid Mavericks will be built in the 2023 model year.
According to this memo from today, it is NOW allowed, so you may want to check today.
