Pretty sure this has always been the case. Only the dealer can/will provide the priority code.
That’s almost word for word what the CSR said. In my case I already knew it was priority 12 on the day I ordered it, 9-16-2022 (not a 2022 roll over). I was hoping that it had been changed to priority 2, so even though the CSR had no VIN or production date for me, in that case it would probably be scheduled soon. I also asked if they could see the priority code after the factory set it below 10. That was when she told me it was available through the dealer only.

I have always, except once, been able to get the priority code using Ford chat.
I’m not doubting you. But it is odd that the telephone CSRs don’t have it, but the chat CSRs do. Maybe they are on a different computer system.

Constraint does not mean not available. It means that suppliers have estimated a certain amount they might be able to provide for the entire production run. Hitch supplier might say 'we can give you 50k hitches now, but that will be all for the year' or they might say 'we can supply 50k hitches, probably 4200/month'. It is not like every day of the year the constraint numbers are followed.
Yeah, no one is saying they aren't building hybrids or hitches. There was also a poll done recently and most hybrid orders were around 12 month mark for wait times, EB ranged from 6-9 months. Obviously some people will get them sooner. Ford has stated they will produce 2 Ecoboosts for every one hybrid and orders were the opposite ratio.

At this point i fully expect not to receive my '23 order. Likely will be required to order a '24 just like thousands of '22 hybrid orders had to re-order them as '23 because they weren't built.

I would think they must be using the same system. I think some of the CSRs, either via chat or phone, just don't know how to use the system properly.

Could be. I wonder if anyone reading this thread has been able to get their priority code from the phone support line?

Something to consider: Tim said he had 16 hybrids scheduled last week (roughly 37% of his allocation), all cancelled VIN. He only had two EBs scheduled. Assuming Ford sticks with the 35-65 ratio, got most of the cancelled VINs scheduled last week, and the cancelled VINs make up the bulk of the 35% ratio, then upcoming scheduling weeks may be primarily EBs with leftover cancelled VINs thrown in. That's not to say new hybrids won't be scheduled; only that the odds aren't good at the moment.

I got mine yesterday from Ford online chat.

Yes, that is what was being discussed up thread. Per your post and others, priority code is available by chat, but I was told today by a phone CSR that she cannot see the priority code. I tried to use multi-quote for context, but it doesn’t seem to be working for me. For more context, I already knew my day of order priority code. I wanted to know if it had changed.

Called my dealer last Thursday and got production date and VIN confirmed. I am in Canada and ordered in Sept of 2022. EB lariat Lux, 360 and tremor packages, sunroof and all the bells and whistles mostly
Where abouts are you in Canada? I'm in Mississauga, Ontario and I ordered EB XLT in Sept. 2022 and I haven't heard anything yet.

If Toyota comes out with a new Tacoma that is as efficient and comfortable then I am going to trade in the Maverick if they ever make my order. Or if Toyota somehow comes out with a new tacoma before I get the maverick I am dumping my order. Ford has absolutely destroyed my goodwill towards them lately with the maverick and their dealers.
For me, the Tacoma must be hybrid and must not be too expensive.
