It is a bit of a stretch, maybe overly optimistic. But personally, I was looking at stuff with a couple thousand dollar markup and comparing to the 23 prices and thinking if the 22s on lots is close to that maybe I can justify it. But now I'm not going to do that, I'm see hope and going to keep waiting for mine. Surely I'm not alone.I do not share your belief that doing all of the scheduling emails once per month instead of scattered throughout the month will have much difference on used Maverick prices. This truck had an order window of less than a week. Demand is incredibly high, with tons of people waiting outside the gate who never got a ticket to come in. A change in email schedules will not have much effect on market prices.
I am totally with you that more hitting the streets will lower the used prices. No doubt about that. I just think the "waiting outside the gates" demand is somewhat unknown and possibly pretty dang high. Maverick is not a commodity at this point, and there are a lot of people dead set on getting one (who do not yet have any order placed), so Mav prices might not come down as fast as the average used vehicle market. Best wishes to you though in receiving yours quickly. (legit, for real, not sarcasticIt is a bit of a stretch, maybe overly optimistic. No, a lot of email addresses were dropped off from orders or not entered correctly by dealers. Those who received build weeks but no email should be contacting their dealer to rectify it.I am confused with people saying they didn’t get an email but say that ford chat gave them a date. Is it a necessary step if I didn’t receive an email to call ford?
First off, congrats. Second, I am slightly surprised that Johnson Motors was able to do it correctly. Their SCF location is a joke, and my limited dealings with NR wasn't much better.
Yeppers I understand not wanting to be late to not getting scheduled!Yeah sorry, I created the thread a little early, even though I know darn well I'm not getting scheduled tomorrow.
It'd be a heck of a way to roll into the new year. I've spent so much time the last year looking at all the aftermarket accessories everyones buying. I think I'm gonna shop around for eveything i dropped. I had also dropped the tonneau cover and I've been eyeing a couple of those. Think I'm leaning toward a hard tri fold now instead of soft but haven't decided from where.I'm exactly like you with the exception of order date being Oct 9, 2021. I ordered the Splash Guards from Ford Accessories and got them in one week. I also ordered the all weather floor mats from Ford Accessories and got them in two weeks. I'm going to have full frontal Protective Film after vehicle arrives also have a "LineX" SIBL installed. Lets keep our fingers crossed for the week of January 2nd. Maybe our Mavericks will be on the same production line the day of productions?
