My power went out about a month ago. The vehicle ended up getting towed to a dealership who replaced a 12V battery lead. This past Friday, July 22nd, I was without power again. I learned how to jump the vehicle from the post under the hood. Drove directly to the dealership. Turned off the ignition and it was dead again. Dealership hadn't looked at it yesterday when I called. Just received a notification on my phone indicating, "The powertrain control module has detected the power relay de-energized earlier than expected." Looks like the dealership may be discovering the issue? White Lux Hybrid ordered June 8th and delivered January 8th. Just hit 4,000 miles before this happened.I used to get the deep sleep mode intermittently from February through March. The truck would start fine, and I thought maybe it was the dash cam with parking mode that was draining the battery. So I disabled the parking mode and stopped getting the deep sleep notifications. It's been working fine until yesterday when the truck had zero power like others have experienced on this forum.
Jump started it, took it immediately to the dealership, and on the way there I got a check engine light with the message "The powertrain control module has detected the power relay de-energized earlier than expected." The truck was running purely on HEV mode, no combustion engine at all. Technician checked the battery and it was in excellent condition, so he suspects that it's the known electrical issue that HEV Mavericks have. But I probably won't get my truck back for 2 weeks![]()
