Update on being SOL for any reimbursement for known wire harness issue causing truck to completely shut down. I was stranded in Florida. No rental cars. had to stay in shady motel (only Choice) son came down from S.C. 550 miles to pick me up. Waiting on part. Rented a one-way rental car from SC back to Florida after 6 days. out over 800 bucks and lost travel time. Was told to keep receipts as this may turn into a recall from a technical service bulletin. I still have truck going into deep sleep mode continuous on trip home from S.C. to Pa. Says to not run AC and take it for a ride. Apparently, it doesn't like continuous driving 11 hours home nonstop except for gas and coffee. Now i have to carry a flashlight to see in the cabin as the interior lights don't work and a battery jumper box to jump it when it fails to start per Ford Pass App. Just got letter to have side air bags replaced. Good time to trade it in ?
