Ordered a plain, no option XL hybrid June 28. I had a little hope of getting scheduled soon but was willing to wait.
Yesterday I picked up my son at the airport and he talked me into changing my order (I wonder why Ha)
I had to stop by the dealer to sign a sheet because it was such a radical change but it’s still the same order number.

I now have an XLT, eco AWD, 4K tow package, Alto blue, FX4 off-road package , copilot 360.
The sales manager said now it might be scheduled this week but I have no expectations.
It certainly adds to my ordering excitement.

on a sidenote there are two Ford dealers in Chattanooga and this one had 30 maverick orders with two eco-boost scheduled.

How satisfied will you be if you remove an option(s) so you can get build date? I ordered a velocity blue lariat hybrid with Lux package. No mud flaps or soft bed cover. My dealer said they were not available. I ordered the Maverick 6/21. Still waiting and will wait.
I’m good with waiting, too. i wonder how many people who took off things or changed their builds to speed up their orders will regret it next year when everyone gets their builds.

I'm thinking of adding the lux pkg to my Lariat... I know this will put me last but each month goes by I have more money for the down...
I know the Lariat is supposed to be Ford's Luxury Trim so I hate to short-change it by not adding the Lux pkg... We'll see

The know of a sales guys about had a mental breakdown becuase keep calling and bitching and ripping him becuase there truck aren't getting built. Take it easy on the sales guys they have no control once they submit the order.
Didn't Ford say that they were moving towards this style of ordering vehicles in the future?
Granted after the chip, spray-in bed liner, mud flaps, tonneau covers shortages are all sorted out, it might not take as long when you place an order! :ROFLMAO:

I removed it last week after Ford called my Dealer and told him it was holding things up....Didn't get scheduled last week(I didn't expect to since I removed it the day before) but maybe this week...
Whichever truck hit the lot first get's my money unless I hate it..."Which I doubt"
Both trucks in the signature....the XL AWD is functional and a worker...the Lariat is all Luxury...it's like opposites... After filling my gas hog yesterday it got 13.04mpg...even the XL EcoBoost AWD at 22-23mpg will be a welcome relief

Same here. Ordered my XLT hybrid in June. Was recently told that mine was delayed because of the bed liner that we ordered. Has anyone received an email stating when their hybrid will be built ?

Can someone please explain to me what is the actual hold up with the stand alone spray in bed liners? Did they expect people to not want this, to prevent future rust or corrosion problems?

Is it applied at the factory, then what's the problem? Or is it farmed out to some 3rd party local company that doesn't have the capacity to handle all these orders? I haven't seen a true answer to this as I can remember yet.

Just received my email confirming my build date of week of October 18. I ordered my XLT with the 2.0 ecoboost AWD luxury package and the 4k towing package. I was sweating it being delayed due to the shortages of spray in bed liner and the trifold bed cover. I ordered on 7/22 so I guess that helped. From what I hear I should get delivery November 18, Hope that holds true.
What color you order? I have the same build date and am also in Brevard. Possibly we will have the first two Mavericks in the area!!! :)
