We have NO issues at all with our hybrid. Driving in our neighborhood is pretty tight with vehicles parked on both sides of the road. Apparently, the Maverick thought that I was too close to a vehicle while weaving in and out to let passing cars through. I didn't think that I was that close. The...
We saw the truck advertised on TV last June and decided to order then. Haven't seen an advertisement lately, although I did see a commercial with showing all of Ford's line up.
We have had our Maverick hybrid for about two months. No issues at all. Pleased with the gas mileage. 500 miles to a 14 gallon tank. Mixture of interstate and city streets. I'm on my third fill up, although the dealership filled it for us before driving off of the lot.
In the Norfolk VA area, I have seen one other hybrid XL. I have seen an orange Maverick and another Area 51 non hybrid. I do know that the dealer that I bought mine from has sold 4 more. Population of are is around 2 million
We ordered our hybrid XLT on June 18th. Not a lot of bells and whistles though. Received the Maverick on January 18th. I average about 500 miles per tank, 14 gallon tank. Great vehicle so far. We love everything about it.
I have not had any problem with reception at all. I do wish that I could have had SiriusXM included in my XLT. Wondering if there is any adapter to receive satellite radio in my XLT. Thanks
I'm glad that we received our XLT Area 51 hybrid on January 17th. Driven 466 miles already, combination of city streets and interstates. Dashboard says another 66 miles til empty. We absolutely love this truck. We order in mid June
Ours was built on December 17th, and ours only sat in the rail yard one week. We took possession of the truck on January 17th. We ordered a hybrid. One short trip around the city of 6 miles and we averaged 49.7 mpg on city streets. Using a mix of highway and city, about 36 mpg.
We are thrilled driving our XLT hybrid. Only 100 miles so far. City driving, according to the instrument cluster, the highest mpg is 49.7. Area 51 is the color. An amazingly quiet and comfortable ride.
My hybrid was first build date 11/29, second build date 12/6 and final build week was 12/13. Ours was actually built on December 17th. Just received it yesterday.
Still waiting on my Maverick. Ordered on June 18th. Supposedly sitting 35 miles away from me. Window sticker delivery date has changed once again for another week. I guess that my bank check and financing is going to run out and I'll have to apply again for credit.
We ordered on June 18 th. Still waiting on ours, although, it appears to be sitting in the tractor trailer driver's house about 35 miles away from us. Hopefully it will be delivered tomorrow.
Pending pickup means, at least in my case, as on the driver's list to pick up. My hybrid was on the pending pickup for three days before it was picked up. I will see my hybrid tomorrow.
On another note, the Maverick seems to be parked in the driveway of the guy who is going to hopefully deliver it to the dealer on Monday. It currently sits 35 miles away from me. Hope to get it on Tuesday after whatever the dealer does to new cars and being state inspected.
