Still no email from Ford... Plus, no indication that my dealer actually got my signed form or did anything with it.
I ordered a week ago no email. Called ford they say it's not in their system so I go back to dealer not in their system either. I have a build sheet and final contract with order number priority code everything I should need, but no one can find my order. I think I about to get screwed.

Sorry for your misfortune! I'm guessing there will be many others.
Ford is going to have fun trying to repair the damage from this debacle!

Well, that took a hot minute. A week later and the email shows up. Confirmed order a week ago.

I texted my dealership and although I received a conformation email from Ford, I wanted to make sure they submitted for COVP. I was told they did, but have not had any of their orders confirmed from Ford for COVP approval yet.

Thanks for that information!
I think I'll wait a week before I ask my salesman about that. He seems a bit cranky recently!

Update ... Sort of. I talked with Ford Customer Service. They told me the dealers use a different system for order info than Ford uses for order status.
So, I called my salesman. He told me that he was sure my email address was right and that my order was fine. I asked him to please check the actual system in case it was fat fingered. He finally agreed. Yup, that was it. They had my email address wrong. He said they'd fix it.
Still no email but hope springs eternal.

My dealer had my conformation email sent to the sales manager. They only forwarded it to me after I I asked about receiving a conformation notice.

Ford is very slow doing the COVP verification because of the tremendous amount of orders that were placed.

My MY23 order was submitted early 9/16 and the "Your Order has been Confirmed" email from Ford was received late evening on 9/16.

The dealer submitted the COVP documents early afternoon on 9/16.

On 9/17 I asked my dealer if he could send me a snapshot of the COVP status.

He responded that it was pending. The snapshot provided showed the date of 9/17 and the PENDING status.

I again asked on 9/26 about the status of the COVP status and the status is now APPROVED.

So, question about your COVP... I notice there are just "x" -es where it says "customer name". Is this what your COVP said? I've read elsewhere that if they don't put an actual name on the COVP then the order is not price protected for the customer, but the dealer IS price protection. Of course then this begs the entire question of "COVP" as how does that work without an actual human customer being named on the COVP.... Just wondering as my dealer, Mullinax Ford of Olympia, says they did perform a COVP, but also told me that price protection ONLY applied to the first model year of the Maverick (2022) and that the Feb 1 $500 price increase is being passed on to them.

Which makes no sense. We had to pay the new MSRP knowing dealer had us over a barrel and could just sell it at ADM if we declined to purchase.

I manually put the "x" -es where it says "customer name" for privacy when I posted it.

On the actual COVP it does have my name.
