I got same email from them. I’ve been waiting 11 months now. I just put in another order with different dealer but I I’m pretty sure it’s to late.Just got an email from Ashlie Ryan stating for gave them their MY23 estimated allocations and they only have 11. Of of their writing they had 60 rollovers.
C&P from email-
"We would like to thank you for wanting to order a 23MY Maverick from us...
Between September of 2021 and August of 2022, we delivered or have scheduled over 300 Mavericks...
As you might know, Ford has decided to close the order bank that was open less than 1 week...
Around 5pm last night, we received our MY23 estimated allocation...sadly, Ford estimated a total of 11 for the entire model year for us...we hope that is a mistake and currently trying to get answers as to why delivering over 300 Mavericks only earned us 11 over the same period...
As of today, we had about 60 customers from MY22 who didn't get scheduled and about her 250 who wanted to order from us for MY23...this number was very comfortable for us to handle based on Fords allocation formula and our previous MY sales...
We highly suggest you place back up orders at other dealers in the event Ford stays true to only building us 11 for MY23..."
Ed's the *other* Chapman (East Philly). Chapman Horsham is owned by the same parent group but a totally separate dealership.Just got a Tremor order placed by Ed who says he knows nothing of the limited allocation issue.
Should I place a back up order with a local dealer (at significantly higher price and required add-ons)? Easy to cancel orders? I presume a Tremor would be easy to resell.

Thanks- did not know that. Here's hoping that they are not allocation constrained (or at least at a level above my order).Ed's the *other* Chapman (East Philly). Chapman Horsham is owned by the same parent group but a totally separate dealership.
Did they say how many orders they had for MY23 thus far? I ordered from a pretty small dealer as well and I think it will likely be a similar situation. They might get allocated 1-2.Just got an e-mail from the dealer I used for my MY22 order (which never got a VIN). He said that they got their MY23 allocation this morning and it was ONE (1). I think they got a total of 5 last year out of 12 placed orders (I think I was #7 on their list and never made it to Priority 2).
They did not say how many orders they had so-far for MY23 but expect it was similar to last year (so probably 10-15 Maverick orders). Based on what I am reading on this thread, current allocation looks to only be 5%-15% of the total MY23 orders that have been placed. If that holds (and I don't expect it will), then 90% of us will be SOL. At least one dealer here said they had already input something like 400 orders and another mid-size dealer said they had input 120 orders on Friday. These dealers are smaller than Chapman so may only have 10 - 20 allocations.Did they say how many orders they had for MY23 thus far? Are we saying that most of the orders that everyone has put in for MY23 are just not going to happen?
