Recall they made 25880 MY'22 Mavericks in 2021. Together with the 61059 thru end of Aug that totals to nearly 87000. So IF they can hold to the 2022 avg of ~7632 per month for the next 2.8 months that would get to about 108000 by the announced model changeover date. So FORD could actually meet the Model '22 announced production.

Now that the regional scheduling for MY '22, is over, the plant will take over the actual scheduling according to parts in hand the week before build.

My question is how close to one's VIN # is the actual production order? If it's close, then one should be able to estimate one's build date.

Note that given FORD sold out the '22 Mavericks with virtually NO advertising, NO sales brochures, NO floor samples, and that the changeover is on the same day: anyone expecting any substantial physical changes in the Maverick, other than the announced color changes and at some point (after the converted '22 to '23 s are built) the Tremor, might be making the wrong bet.

I hope not. My Lariat hybrid with lux package is scheduled for the week of 19
September.
Get ready for a "BUMPy" ride through the calendar. Mine was 8/22, 8/29, 9/19 and now (supposedly) 9/26.... It is what it is, unfortunately.... + dont expect to have Ford keep you up to date on the status. I have to check weekly with my dealer for the updates. Ford sucks at communication and scheduling - I know its all about availability of parts, but how does that screw up their ability to communicate?

My lariat luxury was also scheduled for Sept but then the schedule disappeared and it went back to “order received.” I still have a VIN showing on the page.

I have a Hybrid XLT ordered on 10/15/2021. I was given an August 15 build date, and have been pushed back three times so far to a 9/5 build date. I have been waiting all week for the email pushing me back to 9/12...haven't gotten it yet.
I ordered my Lariat hybrid 8/11/2021. I took delivery 8/1/2022, just 10 days shy of one year after ordering it. Now have 2030 miles on it. Getting over 44 mpg average. Worth the wait.

Maverick production ought to get really "interesting" between now and the end of the year. Based on everything I see on this forum, it seems typical for people to be bumped back 4-5 week from the original build date until their truck finally goes into production.

I just got scheduled this week for the week of 11/7, which is SUPPOSED to be the final week of MY22 Maverick production. However, considering that multiple push back are common, what are the odds Ford actually finishes MY22 Maverick production the week of 11/7? Let's just say I wouldn't bet big money on it.

And if they CAN'T get all the VINs they've assigned built by then, how long do they extend My22 production? I mean, at that point there will only be 7 weeks left in the calendar year. Ford can't build MY22 Mavericks in calendar year 2023!

Finally, what does all this mean for MY23 Mavericks? Will Ford again delay opening of order banks? Or will they. just delay the time before they actually start scheduling and building 23s?
My Eco-boost with luxury pkg & co-pilot is supposed be locked in on build date of 09/06/22 with ETA of 09/10/ to 09/15 hopefully that is true but can’t see how it can be built & delivery to Columbia,Mo that soon. Been pushed back several times but dealer tells me it’s locked in now. See if it goes to production tomorrow…

Definitely could be true. It makes sense, but could be one more week. I think the goal is that all existing 22 vins be delivered before 2023. Getting a 22 brand new in 2023 just rings of bad publicity. Of course it's just speculation and anything could change and has all year.
Two days ago I got scheduled for 10/31. That's cutting it close.

I don't think there is a 9/12 build week in play. My 9/5 hybrid got bumped to 9/19 yesterday. Hope yours goes through next week though. 2022 is the year of living dangerously.
My Hybrid XLT with Lux pckg and sibl is scheduled for the day of 9-14

My Iconic Silver Mettalic hybrid XLT was ordered on 9/20/21 with Lux pkg, SIBL, moonroof and rear manual windows, and CP-360. Ford customer service told me 2 weeks ago it is scheduled to be built the week of 10/3, VIN, and delivery ETA around 11/5. Keep the faith friends.

why are you so fixated on Negative "what if's" right now? Let the screwy process play itself out- there's nothing any of us buyers waiting for our trucks to be built can do to speed up or change the way it's going to play out :(

It's still SUMMER man! Get outside and enjoy it before Winter gets here
I think it’s because we have been waiting soo long to get our trucks. I am currently waiting on the chip hold, again. I’m going on 15 months, while people who ordered 3-4 months after me, the same package, have received their trucks. It’s not the product but the process that is bringing on so much negativity.

Well, it will really stink if they build my truck in November, stick in a parking lot on chip hold for my luxury package and then I don't get my MY22 truck until March of 2023!
I ordered my Hybrid Lariat in Nov 2021 and I’m hoping to see something by Feb 2023

My VIN (found out Friday) is B11xxx which I think corresponds to 110xxx and has a current build date of 10/31. So looks like they plan on completing >110K for the MY 2022
