Did you receive a confirmation letter of any Kind? I ordered from Chapman Scottsdale on 8-17, and they seem to be unable to give m any written confirmation of the order. How do I confirm the order was entered properly?

Ask your salesperson for a copy of the build sheet, which should include the order and sales code, then you can reach out to Ford Customer Service and use those to verify the order was submitted.

Don't be too discouraged though, I still haven't received a single email from Ford but I'm scheduled for an early October build.

I'm in Tucson, and saw the training model yesterday at Jim Click. Hope to go to Holmes Tuttle today for a second viewing with my mom.
Are dealers in Tucson OK with MSRP pricing? Is anyone getting any guarantee that once the car gets here the dealer won't do a bait-and-switch and charge more than they agreed to based on "market conditions" or whatever?

So I never received a confirmation from Ford. I asked Chapman for a copy of the build sheet. No buyer name or email address is listed. They never asked me to sign the build sheet. No wonder I haven't received a confirmation from Ford. I asked Chapman more than once to add the email, but no response. I did confirm verbally with Ford that they have the order.

Hey Karen, contacted Ford and verified my order was placed on 6/9. They did not have my email information which I provided and they indicated that the order code I was given by the dealer was inaccurate and provide me with the correct number. Good luck!

Be happy Ford Customer Service gave you that. They confirmed that an order code the same as mine had been submitted but said it was impossible to view any further information about that order, including my name, email address, status, etc, etc.

I have no complaints about build delays or even the lack of solid information that's came out from Ford yet, and I definitely had a "better than usual" experience with my dealer. So no huge complaints there.
But the communication I've received during this order, from the fact that I have a build date but still never received a single confirmation from Ford that an order was placed, to the "Gee shucks, we can't tell you a thing about that order that was probably placed" response from Ford CS?

Pretty sad and amazing that something like this could still happen in 2021, IMO.

Did any of you get a denial of credit letter in the mail? I called Chapman when it arrived yesterday and the poor finance manager was like "yeah those go out automatically when we send in your order but no financing is done." Sounded like he was inundated with those calls and I was absolutely polite all around. I said "well a) I didn't apply for any financing, and b)My credit score is over 800 so what's going on here?"
I asked if my order is affected at all and I guess it has nothing to do with that.

The bummer was when he asked if I'd seen the Mav when it was there and I replied "NOoooo.... I would have absolutely been there if someone had let me know."
-"Oh it was really nice!"

I ordered my Maverick from Bill Alexander Ford in Yuma, Finally got verbal that my order was received. Nothin from Ford or anyone at this dealership. Has anyone else had this problem??

If the dealership used your email address with your order you should get an email from Ford confirming your order. If the dealership used their email address then Ford will email them and the dealership/salesperson should forward to you. Once you do get a conformation email from Ford, then you should start reading the meme thread on this forum because depending on what trim level, options, and model (hybrid or ecoboost) you could be waiting for a time to get that next email stating your Maverick has been selected for production. Welcome to the forum, lots of good information here, even more opinions, but overall a great place for everything related to Maverick!
