Had my EB AWD Lariat since last October. Been great. Few minor glitches. But there is a firmware/software fix. Drivers keyless entry by touching door handle stops working. That’s it.

I am having the same problem with the drivers keyless entry also stopped working. My Maverick is a hybrid, so I have an appointment for the recall, and will ask about the keyless problem. Did the firmware/software fix the problem? We may be on to something.

I haven’t taken it in yet. I just disco battery negative and it fixes it. Someone mention in trucks menu it can be reset. Then there is this. See pic

Thanks for that info, I made a copy of the of the article, and will show it to the service manager when I go in for the recall.

I love my Hybrid Lariat. Have just over 3000 miles on it (mostly highway) and I'm averaging just over 44mpg. Only compliant is that you can't use the lane centering without using the ACC at the same time.

I have had mine for 850 miles, I am averaging 44 mpg, the 3 highway trips I have went on set cruise at 75 and got 37 mpg each time. I am 6' 2" and fit great. I mostly drive curvy country roads to and from work and it handles the curves very well and is fun to drive, love it. Quite possibly my favorite vehicle I have owned.

WOW ... have had my XLT Eco for about 1 month. Did after market spray in, Ford soft tri-fold, splash guards and just finished applying Griot's 3 in 1 ceramic. I could not be any happier with my purchase. Above and beyond my expectations for a $25,000 truck

I am getting to order a 2023 Maverick and I am getting concerned about all the issues I am reading about. Anyone want to chime in and make me feel more confident about my potential purchase? How many of you are sorry you bought the vehicle.

I drives nice. Smells like burning transmission fluid. Lack of ground clearance. The alternator doesn't seem to be chargeing had electrical problems from day one never got fixed they just shrug them off.been getting worse it seems. Long waits to.even get it looked at

If I could do it all over again I would have never purchased my Maverick. After my experience I will NEVER buy another Ford again. NEVER.

The car has had significant defects out the gate and trying to work with any of the local dealerships to get it resolved is like pulling teeth. Ford corporate doesn't care and has a phone tree designed to waste your time and spin your wheels without providing any resolutions.

Interesting! What did you use to deaden the sound? This is one of my biggest concerns as I currently own a Honda Insight that has AWFUL sound deadening, particularly on concrete highways.
