So this is the avalanche gray color? Is it going to be exclusive to the Tremor?

Reasons I could see 4k not being available on Tremor. Note I am no expert these are just spit balling.

1. Have not tested the lift with the additional weight, so can't certify, so pulled
2. Concern over additional load and the dual clutch.
3. Gear ratios for the Tremor don't align with tow package (but this should be doable with a selectable mode, but if they have worked that out).
4. This is my personal guess, they don't want another box to check in the scheduling and logistics matrix. One more complexity of parts as they work through scheduling.

This makes no sense to me at all. Ford has trouble meeting production needs for their current versions of the Maverick so they go and introduce more versions? I suppose if demand was light and it just worked out that they couldn't produce the few they needed, someone at Ford could have decided that they needed to increase the pool of interested customers. But, I just don't get why. Sure, it's a neat package but they can't meet demand as it is.
OEMs don't stop model updates ever.
So that’s sensor? oh… oh well sensor works but not as good as camera
That box is the ACC radar. Doesn't have front parking sensors if that's what you mean.

@kingranchero Thanks for clearing up about the 4K tow and Tremor. Another packaging question I'm not sure you can answer yet, but it's worth asking. Ford's given us the $2,995 MSRP on the package. But if you ordered a base XLT EB FWD - is it just $2,995 on top of that? Or will you have to add the lux package and add the AWD and then add $2,995 on top of that? Just trying to figure out the cheapest way to get into an XLT Tremor.

I wouldn't think Lux Pack is a prerequisite. The un-camo'ed Lariats we've seen previous didn't have it (no ACC box).

Clearly you'll need to add AWD. Not sure why Lux would be needed that is a good question. Assume it's similar to FX4 and you just need AWD.

Tremor would have to be in addition to an XLT with 2.0L EcoBoost and AWD options. Lux Packages are separate as far as I can tell. So ballpark you would be looking at low $30k for a XLT Tremor.

Wonder what drive modes are available. Most likely like the fx4. But no 4k not intertested.

Thanks. I wasn't sure 100% if you'd have to option in the regular AWD and then option the Tremor package. I suspected that would be true but wanted to clarify.

It is mostly just down to cooling. To get the 30° approach angle, the Tremor cannot use the larger heavy duty radiator from 4k Towing pack. The Tremor will still be highly capable of towing 2k lbs, but Ford's standards for 4k truck towing are extremely stringent.

Maybe just a preproduction model quirk, but a bit strange that they went with a dark charcoal to replace the light gray trim on the interior door panels, however, the light gray is still being used in the upper panels of the interior's body.
