I tried to get an answer from Ashlie on this and her reply was that we would have to see what the truck was invoiced for once it was at the dealership.

I am going to stop trying to get an answer and see, but I am definitely moving the order form Horsham if it doesn’t get scheduled. Once I do that I will tell Ashlie what I actually think of their BS - and I don’t mean Bronco Sport,
No price protection sounds strange

Nope, can’t recommend at the moment. TBD when I actually take delivery from Ed in Philly on whether or not I can recommend him. So far he’s been great but unclear on what the cost will be.

Thing is - if they agree to 3-4% under invoice - and the price goes up 4-5 times before you’re built, it’s not that different than just going with an MSRP dealer who will give you price protection.

first post has been updated.

Included @usersname around Aug21 as hybrid XLT.

I haven't heard from @docsmith1511, @brokemonky, @N0B0DY, or @Bronco_joe. It seems likely that you may have been scheduled in this last round of June/July/Aug hybrids if the trend has been followed. You may wish to contact ford or chapman to determine if you have scheduled as well and kindly report back here.

Once again, thanks to @theway-yay-ting, president of the #Team23MY, for his tracking efforts. I hope that he, and all of you get scheduled or transitioned as you prefer.

Cheers and best wishes.
Go Team!
Not scheduled yet, still waiting.

I would bet the holdup on yours is the tonneau, but what's odd is @abcinv has one and ordered almost 3 weeks after you, but just got scheduled. Have you called Ford lately to double-check?

What number would I call? I've only spoke with the dealership

Ed @ Chapman/Philly confirmed via email for me that my scheduled order will be price protected. FYI.

There are no real issues with Chapman - these are Ford problems being manifested
Sorry, incorrect. Horsham not honoring price protection is very much a Chapman issue.

How many people do you know that didn't actually get price protection? I had no issue getting it. You haven't even gotten yours, have you?

Ford Marketing at 1-800-334-4375 should be able to tell you. You’ll need the order number from your Dora that Chapman sent you.

So here’s where I think the ā€œcatchā€œ is with price protection; a quote from Ms Ashlie - ā€œFordā€˜s price protection is based on the customer’s order date AND last submitted dora in the order bankā€. I read this as if you made a change and your updated (aka new) dora is dated with the price increase then that’s your new price and where your price protection starts.
With my latest dora being before any price changes I expect to be price protected to the original price. If I would have made a change a month ago then I think they wouldn’t price protect me back to the original price.
Not that I agree or disagree, just how I’m reading the statement (and could be wrong about that as well)…

This lines up with my experience and the price protection that I actually received on my lariat in May

You can count me in the "not getting price protection", and I live local to them. I did get 4% under FINAL invoice. It was lower than original MSRP, BUT $800 higher than original price. This was even after confirming in December (price hike) my original price. And its not the $800, but the principle.
