So so far only 18 trucks with the bad harness problem

Again, as I told you before, not including unique posts from Reddit and 3 Facebook Maverick groups which I’m a part of. Stop counting, your number is wrong anyways! Also, stop discounting it as “only 18.” You understand for those 18 of us here without a truck for 30 days (ours since June 1) are pretty pissed about this. We don’t even know when the part is coming! 1500 miles and very lightly driven in 6 months and it’s dead. Unacceptable.

In Maryland a vehicle without a fix for 30 days is a lemon. So yes, we’re making car payments on a lemon and a paperweight right now. Sick of you making light of this.

Yeah, you’re not listening and it’s not worth engaging with you any more. You’re only seeing a poll on one source. I highly doubt you’re tallying the other threads with their experiences with this also - how do you know which 18 are reporting on this poll? You don’t. You have blinders on, but ignorance is bliss obviously. Maybe do the google a bit and count those since you have so much time on your hands. And yeah, lose your primary means of transportation and see just how you feel. If you can’t relate, why are you here? To troll those of us without a truck? Explaining facts is creating a panic? I don’t think you know what panic means.

Edit to add, if you really think the post is accurate, you think only 150 or so owners don't have any issues at all, but 10% do. You have 9 trucks, so the chances of one of your 9 being dead seems pretty high. Can't wait to see that post when one of yours dies!

The problem is when backing up. It backs up fine but when you put it in park and shut the ignition off it loses all power.

So should we put it in drive (maybe even without actually moving forward) before putting in park and shutting off. Does this dead happen if dial is moved to park or when it is shutting it off without actually putting in park and letting it automatically be put in park by computer =(maybe software problem? And maybe truck actually leaves something active drawing current?)!

Got it back today. They said it was the battery cable not connected correctly.

XLT luxury with 2100 miles built St. Patty's Day; delivered late April. 48 mpg using miles/actual gallons.

Biggest annoyance is the driver's door locking itself spontaneously. I am careful not to push the lock latch back in when opening. I'm not accidently hitting the keyfob either since all the other doors stay unlocked. I'm glad the first think I did was program a memorable number into the keypad.

Mine is at the dealer now. Maverick xlt hybrid with less than 3000 miles and it died. Ordered a new harness but don't know when they will get it.

XLT Luxury / CoPilot360 Died in Driveway. 99% sure is battery harness issue. Service writer told me that ford now has a TSB on the harness issue. No word yet on how long it will take to get my truck back.
UPDATE: Towed it to dealer monday and got it back Wednesday. It was the harness problem and all they did was replace the connection lug with a new one that was crimped on. Everything is back to normal, and if something had to fail, I am glad it was just a wire connector.... and it was kind enough to fail in my driveway.

They also did the recall something about the air inlet vanes while it was there.

1100 miles. Lots of deep sleep mode messages during that time. Decided to remove vehicle from Ford pass app.

That makes zero sense, now you just don't see the notice.

I had the issue and had it fixed while we were in Orlando.
I have over 7500 miles.
The problem occurred on the trip to Florida and no issues since.

Totally agree. Don't think I don't see the catch-22 here. Can't get deep sleep mode messages if I'm not connected to the truck... I get it.

There were other threads suggesting the constant communication between truck and app was the cause of the battery drain. I figured since I don't use any of the app's remote functions, I'd remove the vehicle from the app as a preemptive measure.

If the hybrid battery still dies on me, then at least I know it's not the app, and it might be the battery cable clamp. Process of elimination and all...

Ok here's my thought.

Last Saturday night sitting by the campfire with the truck about 20 feet away I kept hearing relays clicking. It had been well over an hour since I drove the truck. It did it several times maybe 15 minutes apart. Any ideas??/ The trucks running fine.
