2022 Maverick Lariat, nav with nav repeater/turn by turn enabled in cluster and speed sign recognition. Tried to enable boost Guage like in the F150 eco but it looks like the cluster doesn't support this. Everything else works perfectly!
Anyone with a Mav hybrid looking for an escape hybrid cluster, lmk. I have one...lol started out with it and couldn't get the dash light for the hybrid to go away....so I now have an ecoboost variant cluster. :)

Hybrid Cluster was programmed with my as-built data and mileage so it shows 275.5 Miles. Should be easy to increase mileage with FORSscan to match yours. (Last pic)

Which model number did you get for the Ecoboost. I am trying to keep a running list of all digital clusters.

Also for the hybrid one you are selling. What trim is it from? AWD or FWD?

-Thanks

Does turn-by-turn display work for Carplay as well or only with factory navigation? Thanks.

Fairly certain this is only for factory nav, as I was very much interested in this as well. Maybe there's a way to add it if swapping out the Sync module...

The Apple Maps or Google Maps applications in Carplay will both do spoken voice turn by turn directions in addition to showing you the realtime navigation on-screen like a standalone GPS unit. You can mute the voice directions or have them always on. It's a setting you can toggle from the Carplay menu while you're driving or you can change the setting on the phone app menu.

It's the same voiced turn-by-turn style as if you didn't have the phone plugged into the car for Carplay, since time immemorial, it's just being displayed through the Carplay app on your vehicle screen instead. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're asking.

Thanks, i meant that center digital cluster you just installed from the Escape, will it show driving directions from CarPlay? Or is it only from factory GPS. XL and XLTs doesn’t come with factory GPS Sync 3, we just rely on CarPlay or Android for GPS. Thanks

To get the Nav to work, I assume you also swapped out the Sync APIM for one with Nav?

That is really cool!!! I am more of an analog gage kind of guy. Have not gotten mine yet. Gonna drive it for awhile and see if I like the stock gages. If not at least theres an upgrade from an escape.

So, you're not gonna like this, but the Escape uses 2 different fuel level senders, the Maverick only has one. On the Escape, the 2 signal inputs are compounded to get the total fuel level. With only one input, the cluster will only ever see the tank as half full.

Some tweaks with ForScan might switch the cluster over to a single input, but I couldn't say for sure. For reference, the Escape's fuel level signal to the cluster is on pins 1, 2, 9 and 10. The Maverick only uses pins 1, 2 and 10.
Possibly stupid question.... could you simply split whichever wire among 1/2/10 is the data and also send it to #9, effectively double-counting it?

You don't have to do any of that. You can just change how many fuel senders it's configured for and how big your gas tank is through forscan.

If you load your existing as-built to the digital cluster it will accomplish the same thing. Start to finish swapping the cluster including loading your old as built to the new cluster is a 30 minutes. I have now done 4 of these upgrades.

100% Agree with this. When I installed my cluster I had a full tank which obviously registered on my oe cluster. Prior to this I did look as my as built data and it was showing 1 fuel sender. After installing the new Escape cluster, again I viewed my asbuilt data, noticed the option of 2 fuel senders but it was set to 1 fuel sender. Fuel level was showing full on the cluster. Being curious I changed it to 2 fuel senders and it literally cut my fuel level showing on the cluster in half. Simply load your as built data and you will be fine. Im betting that those that were only showing half tank even though the tank was full, had perhaps plugged up the cluster without programming it and thus it had the Escapes, or other donor vehicle as built data. the Maverick only needs 1 fuel sender. :)
