Escape Antenna Swap

Anyone know if the Escape antenna could be compatible with the Maverick? Not sure on what would determine compatibility, so if there's any antenna experts in here I would love to know more. The Escape antenna is just a shark fin with no mast on it which is a much cleaner look.

I don’t think a shark fin can be swapped easily. You can however easily unscrew the stick antenna and put pretty much any of the ones online on it. So if you want to pick up a stubby, bullet, or American flag antenna you could.

Shark fin antennae without a mast use rear window defroster wires to augment AM/FM reception. Escape has rear window defroster; Maverick does not. Therefore you have to continue to use Maverick mast antenna if AM or FM is important to you.
