What's your estimate then on how many orders were made then? You think it's near 100k or less? I don't. I'm thinking at least 130k

Yep, somewhere around that 100k mark is my guess. Doesn't really matter, as there's no way we'll ever know. Even though we should eventually know definitively how many got produced over the full MY22 cycle, Ford will never publish a figure on how many orders they had to roll over/convert to MY23s.What's your estimate then on how many orders were made then? I think Rangers were great cause the price was great leading into the shortage, and they weren't selling all that hot before that I belive.IT sure looks like the Maverick sales canalized the Ranger sales. The combined Maverick and Ranger sales aren't as great this year as the Ranger sales were last year. I wonder if Ford is worried about this?
There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics!Interesting to remember, figures never lie but liars sure can figure. You can make the figures say whatever makes you happy, but the reality is sometimes radically different.
My rough calculations are they've built 66,500 through end of May. I do not think they achieved +100K actual valid orders before cutting off new ECOboost orders Jan 27th (and hybrid was already shutoff November 2021). I believe with *enough parts available* they could build a little over 100k before October production cut off. Again, You could be right, or I could be- only time will tell. They made just under 8000 again. I don't think they've hit 70,000 total yet. Next 4 months, MAYBE 30,000 more built for a total of 100,000 for 2022 Mavericks. Do you honestly think that's ALL that were ordered by customers, fleet, orders, and some for dealer lots? 100k of a popular truck is nothing. Hell, Ford said thay had 100k reservations by the end of last August. I know not all go through are all kept...but a whole lot more were still reserved after that.
Here you go@Administrator - where did the Production numbers come from - not seeing them on the chart?
Give it five days.Maybe if the Lariat Hybrid on the dealer lot down the street from me didn't have a $13K ADM on it, it would have been considered a sold unit,,,,

Theyโre selling everything they make, with a lot of them being high-margin โfancy โ versions.Makes you wonder how long ford can bleed money from such low production and thus sales.
Actually existing F-150 is the main money maker for Ford. I read somewhere they produce 1 per minute off the assembly line with all factories running at full capacity. Lightning reservations were capped at 200k, and that's less than 1/4 year of F-150 sales.I think Mav production for the rest of the year is going to be way down, Fords priority for chips has shifted to the Lightning, Farley said every Lightning requires 3000 microchips. Lightning is where the money is, which is Fords priority.
My buddy works at a Fold dealership and said that Ford will only be able to make 30K Lightning's. There will be 170K disappointed customersActually existing F-150 is the main money maker for Ford.
