Just a thought. If model year 2022 is mostly over as things move to MY23. Does the relatively low production make 2022 a "limited edition" vehicle?
Low production? Maverick production doubles that of some other models.

Wasn't the goal to make/sell like 80 to 100k by end of MY22? Wayyyy off the mark if so.

13,258 25,880 last year. 45,473 54,675 this year. Averaging 6,500 7800 per month with some 3 months remaining. That'd put them at a bit over 78,000 100k.

Edit: Me table gud. Kept looking at the sales figures.

Since production for the Maverick started in 2021 Ford has produced 80,555 (25,880 in 2021 and 54,675 YTD in 2022) so right off the bat they have reached the 80K number you mentioned.

So your statement of "Wayyyy off the mark" is Wayyy off the mark.

Also realize that Ford will produce Mavericks in August/September/October which should add at least another 10,000+.

Maverick December 2021 Sales & Production Numbers: 6,030 Sold / 5,491 Produced

The numbers you quote are SOLD numbers (as paid for at the dealership) the produced numbers are 25,888 in 2021 and 54,675 in 2022 YTD or 80,555 total so far.

Yeah, that's what I get for trying to math while shoving lunch in my face.

Ahhhhhh that makes sense. The 21 and 22 calender year split was unknown to me. I though those numbers were for the MY and not calender year so I get why it's low.

I could've sworn I saw that it was supposed to be 4500 produced in July? Too lazy to fact check though, all I know is my production schedule went from August 8th to August 18th. I know I'm lucky to even be getting a 22, but damn it, I'm on vacation next week, and had my new truck in mind for vacation when I ordered it in October. Now we have to use my wife's Honda fit.

I feel you. I ordered in January and was hoping to have it for a camping trip in September. The salesman said I should have it by end of May, but it's still not scheduled. Now I'll be using the '06 Toyota Sienna instead. :(

Still that is a extremely low hybrid count. And the fact they won’t schedule anymore hybrids after this month for the rest of MY is telling. Why would 23’s be any different.

decent sales numbers for July, 4720 units. YTD 45,473, which averages 6496/month so july was a little low.
